Hi all,

On what USN ship are you having your "Steven Seagal" captain?

I am asking specifically regarding his "special" skills:

  • Expert Loader: -75% to reload time when the shell type is switched (Ordinary Skill gives -50%).
  • Expert Marksman: +3 deg/s to the traverse speed of guns with a caliber of up to 139mm, +1 deg/s to the traverse speed of guns with a caliber above 139mm (Ordinary Skill gives +2.5 and +0.7).

Running him on Texas and Arizona. Still grinding for Missouri (@690k now). I'll be putting him on Mis. Just because....

Mostly Texas, with only 9 skill points atm Steven is just not fit for high tier stuff yet.

Texas, since I won that in a container sometime (Christmas containers, I think?). The unique perks help with the slow turret rotation of lower tier US BBs, so it is a good match. Unfortunately, I have to listen to the voice-over :sleep_fish:.

Hey,

These little upgrades to the skills are obviously for battleships. You can ofcourse profit with them in other ships too but, which USN ship actually needs that extra turret rotation speed anyway? Even their BBs are way faster than rivals like IJN BBs. So i think using the Steve on CAs or DDs would be unnecessarry. And changing ammo type, again, the reload time = USN ships. So only great profit would be in a BB.

On the actual question, about where i use the Steve is, only test ships. Because i don't have a single USN ship, and i have a total of "0" matches with USN ships in random battles. So i put him on a test ship like Black or Kidd when i need an American cpt.

Cheers

Mine never left the reserve at all, he never ever set foot on a ship.

I´ve restricted Fatty "McBoatface" Seagull to kitchen duty only.

Occasionally he is entertaining the surplus ARP chicks when the ARP dude needs some time off ...

DM. I wanted to have a head start with an already leveled up captain, so Seagull ended up on it. EM cut down turrets' rotation time to 20 seconds, which is a welcome advantage.

Reserve. I already had good captains on my US ships and didn't want to spend a million Elite Commander XP to bring him to a level at which his special abilities would be of use.
