First off, this is not a rant. I'm kindly asking.

 

Why isn't the IJN Kaga already released on EU servers ?

I can understand the whole Hunt for Bismarck event and the date of this event, as it was a famous ship, especially regarding british players.

But I just don't care. I won't buy Hood for 100 bucks, not for 50 and not for 35 or whatever. Period.

I will just take my Bismarck for a spin and laugh at the mighty Hood while sinking her

 

BUT I'm more than interested in the IJN Kaga. Just take my money!

 

So why do you release it on Asia servers already with no special timeline whatsoever? The Battle for Midway lasted 4th to 7th June 1942. IJN Kaga got sunk on the 4th of June. 

Makes no sense to me to release it there NOW and leave us EU behind ?

 

So, PLEASE, with lots of sugar on top - give us the Kaga?

or at least SOMETHING to hold on, estimated release date etc. ?

I'd be very careful before buying Kaga or Enterprise as there was talk of CVs being re worked and unless the right click addition counts then it's still to come...

They are likely to keep her for when the HMS Blasting Cap sales end to milk more money from us. Though I will make a statement here and now; (after having been spammed with 'personal offers' to buy Hood for 100 bucks ingame) I will not buy the HMS Detonation, I will not consider doing so at this point in time. The only ship I will consider at this point is IJN Kaga in case they buff her since as she is from the last feedback I heard about her..... she isn't lackluster so much as she is plain crapand will likely get shat on by a significant portion of the Saipans and Hiryuu's in game due to the floppy wet paper towel fighters they gave her... but at least she's more promising than Enterprise and her T7 VS T10 MM! >=)

The price and what goes into those Bismarck boxes is pretty funny. Until you realise WG will actually sell some

Just buy a Saipan. She's far more forgiving, and far more effective for players of most skill levels as long as you adapt your skills accordingly.

I already own the Saipan and she's a good ship really. Probably might get the upcoming Enterprise as well.

That's why I won't buy the Enterprise. I'm not ready for T8 MM, even though I own a Shokaku.

 

I also don't want to pay £30+ for the most graphically dull game mode. Paying for the privilege of staring at a badly optimised map (I get fps loss with CV play of all things)...

1. meanwhile on the Asia server they have had the Kaga out in 3 bundles for a few days now… AND KAGA IS SELLING FAR MORE ON THE ASIA SERVER COMPARED TO HOOD, SO IT WAS WISE CHOICE.

But on a sidenote, I think it would actually make sense - in this case - to have 2 prem ships available at once.

Just for this scenario, IJN Kaga vs. USS Enterprise, Battle for Midway 4th of June+, so players can choose between and have a "counterpart" option.

 

I know that USS Enterprise is probably further away, but to me it would make sense to release them both? Imagine all the money!

You're clearly a gamer and not a business man as staggering releases will make more money. It's spreading spending so folk won't notice what's going out their wallets.

What's the point.  They will never be able to play each other.  One is t7 and the other is t8. At the minute wg has limited one cv in a game, per side, that are teir 8-10.

The funny thing here is that staggered releases actually make me less inclined to buy ships as a way of giving the middle finger to WG. I'd have been more inclined to pick up both Hood and Kaga if they'd have been released regularly; however with Hood being a mediocre T7 BB with a silly gimmick that doesn't actually do that much against the OP T7 Saipan unless the Saipan is 3/0/1 and should get slapped for playing that...... I think I'll save my money for the lackluster T7 CV that'll likely get shat on for not having adequate fighters; I strongly doubt her fighters will do anything relevant unless they are given the Saipan treatment which she won't. Either way I'll pick her up because from what I've seen and heard about her she's pretty meh which may lead to her getting buffs to fix her up.

 

I have given up on the CV rework for now however, as of the last few games I've played controls have been wonky and sometimes plain unresponsive. This being without any mods. (Wo-Era hasn't been updated in a while so..... yeah) Until WG gives a concrete plan and shows the exact details of the rework I have 0 faith in them.

apart from mechanics of MM pointed out above, I don't really think kaga is all that popular and "legendary" CV on IJN as Enterprise got for USN?
