As the title says, to sum up WG EU performance on a major launch:

1. Campaign starts 4-5 hours later than stated (07.00 hours).

2. Bundles available in the shop 4-5 hours later than promised (07.00 hours).

3. EU bundles more expensive than wherever else.

4. Confusion about the content of the campaign containers available to buy in premium shop.

5. Almost 17.00 hours and sill no news about this weekend special.

Do they deserve some spanking. lads? :teethhappy:

I think the problem iwth the EU side is that they have to do 7 languages. And that takes time.

They should kill off some of the those sites.

Just do it in English to troll EU

All in all this launch was bungled. Lessons need to be learned for next time, including times

Don't forget them taking a giant dump on all premium and potential premium plays that are not super rich

A company that has a business volume of several hundred million certainly has a valid excuse for not being able to handle simple translations.

Realistically they only need to announce things in English because everyone already speaks English or they jolly well should.

Although I don't really care if event starts 2 or 5 hours later (it spans over 3 weeks...), you cannot put blame on difficulty with translation...

Firstly it is not done by 1 person (conflicting information in various languages) and secondly, if something takes time - you just start to do it earlier.

If anything it is management problem (or as some say: cultural thing...)

3. EU bundles more expensive than wherever else.

At least we don't have to pay for premium time but instead get more doubloons and some extra consumables.

4350 extra doubloons and 3 x 50 consumables in the biggest bundle. (instead of 30 days of premiums time)

3350 extra doubloons and 3 x 35 consumables in the 2nd biggest bundle. (instead of 7 days of premiums time)

I haven't calculated if this is technically worth the extra cost, but at least it's something.

You could argue the other way round - with England leaving EU there is no need to publish anything in English anymore. One language less - six left :-)

Voila - saved one hour of work...

The Campaign seems to have a bug [Final task, Mission #3]

More info [Reddit / Sub_Octavian]

Edit: Bug will be fixed next week in patch 0.6.5.1

Nah, it's well established as the lingua franca of the EU, we should stick to it. It will make it all the more vexing, when the British service industry looses access to an obvious market and will make their eventual and inevitable relocation to the continent much smoother.

I am just pulling some "die-hard-empire-is-da-best's" legs :-)

These kind of comments about the glorious empire (no more) are just annoying like f*.  Nothing wrong with having an English section though mate.

Actually, the consumables and the upgrades you can buy them in game with silver, no one (hopefully not even the weekend windowlickers :teethhappy: ) buys them with gold or real money. Premium time you can buy only with gold or real money.

So did I, maybe my humorous attempts are just too well concealed in reason though.

I will never understand the logic in how WG EU acts like a newly start-up company having teething problems, WG with it's world beating game WOT, should have experience by now on how to prepare, promote, sell all without any hiccups, but no, everything they do seems to have some problem or another, which is a shame, because WOWS is or was a fantastic game, and run correctly it could be or could have been as big as WOT.

But with the extra doubloons you could choose to buy the premium time if you wanted and still have doubloons to spare, especially with the 2nd bundle.

I likewise don't care about things you can buy with credits, but it's better than nothing.
