EDIT: or was the "intact" camo supposed just for this bundle without the black&white and the black&white scheme will be in following bundles? im loosing track

I saw the new default camo on Hood and it's friggin ugly. The "boring" one is much better. Which probably explain why its full pack only :S

To say I am disappointed is an understatement but with WG EU nothing suprises me nowdays.

 

PS - I would buy the Hood but am sure my wife will notice £85.00 missing from my pocket money lol and then she might start looking into what else I buy rofl, can't have that.

 

PPS- Does the 19 day sale mean we won't see a cheaper bundle or the standard ship for 19 days?????

The ship will come out without bundle. But not in time for the event.

 

But you can still do the event without Hood then get hood later. If you invest time.

 

This is actually in line with "pay to rush" not pay to win. So I can't get all indignant about it.

 

The bundle itself has lots of things I actually planed to need... because I had a suspicion this would happen.

 

Still. It's cheeky, but I'm ok with it so long as the ship on its own comes out (which has been promised)

There will be a cheaper bundle released every week, until the ship on its own is available on 7th June.

Well wargaming is a business, what do you expect, they want to make money and with a famous ship like the Hood...

The bundles are the same for every server with the same release date.

It's not like they are locking content away from people who won't buy it, you can still do the campaign, and you can still buy the ship alone at a later date.

I don't think it's a bad deal with the 12 points captain, flags that are really good and upgrades. Expansive? Sure but I can see the value in the bundle. If you find it too expensive then just wait....

Alright, not much to tell after one battle, but first impressions are positive. Very fast, 33,5 kts with Sierra Mike. Guns are pretty accurate, much better than on German battleships, but I have installed Aiming System Modification 1 instead of usual AA guns modification. Two salvos with HE caused two fires, so not bad at all. At the end of battle I ran into fully broadsided Pensacola, two AP salvos caused two citadel hit sending poor Pensa back to port. Pretty much that's all what I can say for now.

 

 

 

 

Oh, and funny thing. After purchasing Hood, WG decided to reward me with special offer for Scharnhorst

 

 

 

BTW, is second camo is bugged or is just meant to be plain grey?

I am pretty sure they monitored what happened in past released and are expecting to make more money that way. WoW has a older audience that WoT which has a much younger player base. Older means more disposable income, means more likely to buy a bundle if they want to. So I don't think it priced 95% out of their market. Plus a cheaper bundle comes out next week and another one the week after. If you don't want to splash out £85 you can then just wait a week.

Value of something is very subjective, some people might consider £85 a lot for a pixel ship but then they might spend the same amount on a night out. It's all have to do with the value you personally see in it. WoW is practically the only game I play at the moment, if I get dozen of hours out of my Hood, I might see this has a good investment.

I Would  normally have leapt on this today  but sorry,  I'm not able to pay £85 for it.   I will be waiting till the 9th.      WG,  I'm a good and loyal customer who since 2011 has spent a lot of money with you, fill out all the surveys you send me and have recommended this game and others under your banner to lots of people  and generally  I don't question your actions, but  this "Staggered" release is  in my opinion  a bit of a slap in the face for not just me but for all your loyal customers.    If you had offered  all three versions today  I would probably have gone for the middle version,  but now I will be waiting for the 9th.

£85 for virtual ship that is not even yours and WG will nerf it when they want as they did with stealth fire last time (nice performance hit for premium DD that based on SF) ? Lol, I'm not so naive anymore. £8.50 would be worth considering but for £85 you can buy MUCH more at any Games shop.
