Campaign still locked and no Hood?

My games says there is 3 hours until the campaign unlocks but on the website it says it starts at 7:00 CEST (25 minutes ago). There is also no Hood on the premium shop which was meant to start selling at the same time. Someone at WG EU struggling to tell the time correctly?

I don't know how you mess up easy stuff like this.

Already when I first launched the game after the patch I noticed that the "Time till start" was longer than the announced time. Assumed either the aforementioned mess up or that it would unlock at the right time anyway.

But apparently no one ever plays the game or double-checks anything at the EU office.

I started the client with the intent of actually seeing the campaign missions and the rewards, and to think about how to tackle them.

 

I don't know the reason for the delay, but with the recent improvement in communication, I'm less inclined to think it's something bad.

 

Maybe, just maybe they discovered a bug, or changed their minds about something, and are doing some good changes. You know, to avoid the usual storm of complaints whenever they do something.

 

At least that's my line of thinking right now.

Its embarrassing that they could mess up the time like this. We don't know what's the reason for delay, but from marketing perspective this is not good.

NA launched on time with no problems - so did Asia.

 

This is pure and simple incompetence at EU office. They have a whole bunch of very smart people working at WG while also at the same time employing a bunch of village idiots.

clearly somenoe in wargaming doesn't know what CEST timezone means since its already 8:26 CEST time and the campaign was announced to be open at 7:00 CEST

The only perspective in which there are 35 minutes to go until 7am CEST is a "wrong" perspective. In 35 minutes it will be 9am CEST.

 

EDIT: Sorry, that was needlessly rude. I can forgive random players, even supertesters, making time zone mistakes, and snark was uncalled for. WG, however, should be capable of getting it right :-)

You do know that there are more than one "time" on planet earth, right? And that the specific variety of time is posted on the various announcements on the main site.
