Is the "Hunt for Bismark" doable ?

I'm asking myselve if I should do  "the Hunt for Bismark" or not.

 

Can you do the whole campaigne and the time they have seti f you have...

1/ no premium

2/ no HMS Hood

3/ no high tier ships  (9 to 10)

4/ no CV's

Campaign itself: Yes, seems manageable.

Campaign "with Honor": Not sure about that one - depends on my urge to get the Hood earlier or later. But probably not.

Didn't sub-octavian say in the other thread that it was basically about 7-8 games a day for the average player without premium and without the Hood?

It looks fine aslong as you own high tier ships and roll with a prem account.

 

I'm not paying for extra containers on principle however.

 

The super buff flags interest me however I'd imagine a "good" weekend will strip you of them with little actual gain

It is worth doing for very useful new signals and camos alone. And with those requirements you are going to get completed at leasts couple of tasks without even trying.

They will give you a hefty bonus even on lost game. True, not same as with first win bonus on exceptional game, but still...

should be rather easy, especially if you got premium time and some flags & camos for the XP missions.

for the damage dealing missions, higher tier is of course the best.

i´m still a bit sad we don´t get some generic VI or VII premium boat but 11mil credits is kinda nice too, i guess

Some of us don't have the Bismarck. So it;s kind of like credits and free XPing to tier 8 which I like better than a premium.

x3 weekend, plus premium and dragon flags? Would be nice indeed to do couple 40-50k cap exp battles.

11 million credits is amazing. With this amount, as non premium player i can finance playing my tier 10 ships for several months. And i do play a lot per day.

Without premium and Tier 9+ ships or any kind of carriers it's doable, but takes a bit of effort. The rewards are quite meh, however, so there's no need to stress, just play and get some extra goodies for free.

Couldn't agree more. Theres something for the die-hards and something for those who can't spare the hours to do it. Just by selecting a couple tasks and playing normally you'll end up with more than not doing it at all.

About right. With premium account it can be cut to 4-5, with Hood... well, with Hood like fraction of that - then the finishing task would took the longest i think. If you want just finish that's it, but i imagine that anyone having Hood would want to do every single task.

No if you dont have Hood, you can not complete all the missions without it.

Why not use them on regular (kidsfree) late evenings/nights during the week? The Signals don't stack with the daily bonus anyways?

Yes IF you pull an awesome game on the weekend while 300% is on you will get shitloads of xp in one swig, but if you fear losing the signals to zombies why not split the xp into two games?

I'd have said that getting to the end of the campaign and getting Bismarck + port slot looks relatively straightforward, getting all 24 collectibles on the other hand might be tricky.

Need an option for "I can't be arsed to do the missions so I just bought the Bismarck instead".

 

Have always gone out of my way to do missions for free ships in the past but this time I really can't be bothered probably because I had the XP and the credits to get the Bismarck plus I don't have to go through the agony of bad teams in these events. Less frustration in WG games is a good thing. Also I'm not bothered about these gimmicks WG are trying to get us to collect, they only mean one thing = get peeps to spend money collecting them.

 

I liked that comment too by that poster who said : WG answer to the BB meta is to give away more BBs. Still makes me laugh even though I just added to the BB meta. If you can't beat them, join them.

Having Tirpitz with the free xp camo and the recent secondary buff there is almost no point on Bismarck for casual games, will just play the campaign and get some free stuff.
