The rate of fire of some ship is unbelievable, the Atlanta can fire every 4.5 seconds for an unlimited time. Surely there should be some kind of drop off in performance after a while of none stop firing as in reality the crew would be exhausted

Indeed. And battleships should have their dispersion increased as the game goes on because of barrel wear. Deal?

But have you ever played Atlanta? It has short range DDs guns with unbelieveable shell arc and it's really pain in the [edited]to hit something more than 5 km away. Not to mention the complete absence of armor.

Atlanta needs a buff if anything.

She can be very deadly if she's not being shot at, but if she's seen everyone and their grandmother will switch focus to her. And she'll eat citadels at every angle. (at least you don't lose primary guns on every hit anymore).

you place a nice salvo into her citadel and all of a sudden you see a HUGE drop in her performance.

Naming the Atlanta is a sort of OP ship is a little bit hilarious to me.

 

 That arc. And have you even looked at how big the damage is form a single Atlanta hit? 

 

(PS. can we now stop with changing the stats of each ship (only new ships should get little fixes). Look at it this way. You have easy-to-play-ships and hard-to-play-ships. Real men go for the latter. Little cry babies for the first group.)

There are very few Atlanta's out there nowadays anyway so how can it be a "problem" anyway?

 

I dont own the ship BUT Im experienced enough to relies with here short range, high arcs that she is Very specialised ship, she will require a good player that knows what his doing so as far as Im concerned, the only noob feature on that ship is radar but even then she is a very small threat to most players.

 

And I play mostly DD's and I hardly see an Atlanta nowadays.

Yes please, buff Atlanta I only have a 65% WR playing solo almost all the time :trollface:

Buff torps to Flint level, give her a bit more HP and sonar+AA fire (Like the spaghetti ship)

Or give her 4 kinds of ammo, the 2 it has know + fast AP and HE so its possible to hit something with a engine past 10 km.
