Why not let people choose their own airplane complements!

Why does ther have to be squadron builds? That seems arbitrary to me. Just so people has to use experience and credits unlocking them.


 

What would be so terrible by letting people choose if they want 3 torpedo squads or 5, or whatever they fancy. They will still find a balance so they dont get shot out of the sky if they run into a fighter carrier.


 

Again, it seems so arbitrary to me.

You would see 100% torpedo squads with maybe few fighters. You can easily guess what would happened them.

They should just get rid of Load outs. Atm CV's run around with strike setup griefing everyone, its like there own little minigame that pesters everyone else.

 

They should have ONE load out, 50% fighters, 50% bombers that could be armed on demand ingame to give CV more flexibility.

 

The advantage of a mandatory 50% fighters  is that a CV can not decide to either be offensive and damage farm or just play defensively shooting planes down.

 

Now they can and have to do both to be good and now they will be a part of the "team" and can not justify there setup based two shitty options.

 

The howl idea of a "loadout" atm is just like a game of roulette and most opt for strike setup pestering the rest of the playerbase.

 

Dont count on your own CV to protect you when its needed the most, no he will just snipe the enemy team and there CV and vice versa.

 

Give CV's special modules and captain skills so you can just like a BB tailor your CV to Fighters, Bombers or Torp Bombers to give you an edge in one area at the cost of another but not so much that it breaks the game like its now.

 

Just like other ships you can go for accuracy, range or secondarys and similar to give you an edge in some areas but not so much that it becomes unbalanced.
