Team Kill... is it the proper action?

Hello guys, I have one question and want to receive your opinions.

the situation is here.

I played Emerald, tier 5 British CA.

and I met a Danae, tier 4 British CA as team.

I ran away from enemies, So I couldn't see front side.

and I rammed that Danae and We were under fire immediately.

after this, I tried to go my way continually.

but at that instant, that Danae shot torpedo at me.

I had used repair controller, and I was hit that torpedo and flooding. I couldn't use repair again.

Yes, that Danae do kill the team.

after be hit torpedo, I also shot that Danae soon with confusion in that sudden situation.

but because of flooding, my ship sunk soon. and that Danae had Pink nickname.

I just rammed that Danae by mistake.

but that Danae said that I shot her, and damaged half of Danae's HP with saying "Dickhead".

however in my memory, I didn't shoot in this situation. and I also had damages from enemies' shooting.

I felt tight and embarrassed by her attitude.

So now Here is my question.

In this situation, Danae's Team Killing was proper?? is it just my fault??

and although I shot at that Danae unintentionally with ramming situation by mistake, is it the proper action??

Please reply your opinion.

and thanks for reading my topic.

Good luck to you guys :)

teamkills are never justified in my book, even though I have had the desire to do so, when being torped from second line.

This. TK is not ok, be it as preventive action or revenge for whatever you think the other did to you.

So even your return shots after he torped you were not ok.

If you have someone who tries to TK you let him do it. He will turn pink and, after enough damage is done, will receive a punishment by the automatic TK system.

agrees hardly never try to do repairs when being hit by friendlies. let them sweat about turning pink and if they continues they only sink themselves

There needs to be a system in place if someone try to TK you..you can hit them back and not turn pink in the process. Who am I kidding? Nothing feels better than 1 shotting a yama/montana and we both blow up in style.

3 Tk's then 7 day ban, repeated 3TK's Perm ban.

this will end TK's and make players check MiniMap before firing torps.

I you haven't learned a valuable lesson after your first TK pink ship then you don't really care.

I do exactly this when some jerk sets me on fire or torps me.

It's hilarious seeing them bi7ch and moan in chat only to start begging when their HP starts dropping. :teethhappy:

Works best, when you're in a ship that has a larger HP pool than the TK'ing jerk.

One of the best fun and engaging mechanics in this game.^^

No need the system already works without bans... TK gets the same damage on themselves as they deliver to friendlies.. repeated offenders that never learn are going to do damage on themselves only eventually.

this system allows you "punish" an annoying already pink player... Just "accidentally" bump into the guy and he stays pink for at least another match

Lel, that is so mean. But I've done it by accident on occasion... :hiding:

Yep, there are people who actively try to bump into pinkies.

I regularly team kill second line torpedoing scum.

And this is even tactically sound since I am potentially saving other team mates from certain death.

That harms you as you'll get punished too...

There's no point as folk who second line torp often have no idea they're doing anything wrong and will get angry if you accuse them of idiocy.

I was second line torped the other day in my Clemson  from a already pink full health Tenyu I received a couple thousand of damage but no flooding. The Tenyu was left with 200hp or so... It was hilarious

Just a quick question. How come even though a teammate sink you, they still don't turn pink? Is it because turning pink depends on the amount of damage done rather then a -1 or percentage of your health?

The TK system should be able to check if the killed player was spamming chat with F numbers or just dumb comments, then the TKer gets no penalty.

Yestarday me thinks, we had some ret do just that, he was already pink so I decided to be friendly and give him a hug, since the spam seemed to imply need for attention. The poor sod torped me with a result of 300hp lost on my umikaze, and nice fireworks coming off his hull...

in over 4k games I have only really ever been in 2 games where a player on team at the start launched torps at his team and yes those 2 players got killed by the team and they deserved it

He/she turns pink from next match... I have seen players turn instantly pink in the same match however.. Don't know if this applies to repeat offenders

I can confirm your suspicion, they are repeat offenders.

I would never do that.

I've been in games in a DD when other DDs or cruisers are firing torps at random.     I've dodge torps and have been hit by them.  If I get hit I don't repair especially if the player has been seen to fire torps for the second time.

If you're in the cap point with no cover you sometimes have to escape between islands where other players may fire torps at andom..

Thanks for the clarification. I had matches where i didn't repair the flooding since my teammate didn't say anything and I sank but the offending party did not turn pink immediately.

i just let meyself flood for burn if hit by a stupid TK. How ever i will never intentionally ram a pinkie to extend the pink. that is a [edited]move.

I almost always let myself sink or burn at TK DoT on principle. I'll take the credits hit to teach someone the lesson!

Definitely the best course of action. Bonus points for getting everybody in the match to drop their reports on them, if they give lip.

That's why I accuse them of idiocy and explain exactly wherein the idiocy lies. In oh so many words... :) Sometimes, when they actually come across as ignorant, but willing, I've even piggy-backed the guy who got me sunk and tried to teach them how and when to launch properly.
