Naval dock is excellent, looks nice and transitions from ship to ship are fluent ( though, port UI on live server seems to still be affected by how many people you have on your contact list, so it will probably be a lot more laggy on live ).

I really like the new port and the different port sprawnig for ships.

But why it has a night outlook? Night battles SOON™?

And I would really like to have a scandinavian fjord port. It would be the best feature since "armour layout".

Turn on dynamic lightning in settings and it won't look so dark.

Very well done WG. It is by far the best port.

It would be nice with some few workers doing the last work on the ship. Roping, welding, painting etc. etc.

Anyway, well done.

Absolutely beautiful, but it takes almost a minute to load in my poor old computer.

I like the port; I like the details of the little dockside locomotives moving back and forth, the pickup trucks driving around, the cranes moving, and the showers of sparks from welding or grinding. In some ways though I think it looks better with dynamic lighting off as those lights are bright enough that a lot of the shadows get washed out. Without dynamic lighting you have the shadow of a crane on the cruiser, with it that area is lit up enough that very faint shadow. Same with the destroyer/tier 1 cruiser dock where without it the ship is casting a shadow and the little locomotive has a definite shadow, but with it the area where the shadow was being cast by the ship is bright and the locomotive loses the shadow within it.

This does all make sense as losing the shadows is the effect those lights would have (and what the dock workers would want to happen, don't want to trip over a rail because its in the shadow of a ship), so I am not saying that it looks wrong, though I am not sure the dynamic lights are casting any shadows. The lighting on the locomotives and pickups does change as they move, but with the locomotive by the destroyer dock at least the ground seems just as brightly lit right beneath it as everywhere else. I really like the glows when the showers of sparks flare up, but again there might be a quibble about that being a full circle of glow rather than part being blocked by the metal being worked on.

Or to summarise:

Lovely Port.

Looks great.

Personal preference is dynamic lighting off.

Possible very minor quibbles about whether dynamic lighting casting shadows.

Shows how much I like the port that looked at it in such detail.

Hoping that dynamic lighting gets put into gameplay so muzzle-flash lights us up.

Have a slight hankering to play "Warship Constructor Tycoon" and be controlling those little locomotives and things.

Love the new port. The design is just amazing!. I love how you guys included a Fletcher being built next to the DD port and 2 Colorado's (with 3 turrets missing) sitting outside.

One problem though is that some ships seem to be floating in their ports. Baltimore and Lexington for example.

Lexington doesn't fit in the drydock. It's "floats" above the bottom of the drydock. Also Langley, Essex look like they  float above the drydock floor.

Tier VIII / IX and X Japanese cruiser and Tier VII and IX american cruiser float above drydock floor.

Scaffolding on starboard aft side of Yamato intersects with hull.

Scaffolding on port side of Moskva intersects with hull.

Love the new port... BUT the port looks so crap I feel... the colors are washed out.

We do we need to use post-processing for the port to look good?

Don't have the PT. But for a second here I thought/ hoped the real main port of the World would have been included... Port of Rotterdam. Duh! All other ports are like the secondaries on Russian DD's in terms of relevancy...

Very well done port - only minor quibbles;

-Floating crates on the starboard midship area of the BB/CV drydock

-Scaffolding in BB/CV drydock clips into larger warships e.g. Grosser Kurfurst, Yamato

-Some incorrect shadows i.e. shadow of crane should be cast on cruisers

-(Personal to myself) A little bit dark?

Nothing else to report as of yet but will keep scanning. My new favorite port in WoWS!

Well done WG, Bravo Zulu

Gotta say, this new port looks gorgeous.

Makes me want to have an option to turn off the interface like you can do in game, just to take a few nice pictures.

Wondering about the containers though, not sure they had them during WW2 era and a quick glance at Wikipedia seems to confirm that.

The new port looks very nice, but still needs some refinement. As other have noted, many ships simply 'float' in their drydocks. Presumably the supports for the various ships are still works in progress? In addition, I've noticed that the propellers of the ships spin briefly after they load in and also that the BB/CV drydock doesn't seem quite deep enough for some of the ships that are found there (e.g.: Yamato's aft rudder clips through the centreline supports). The container opening screen also looks a bit washed out (with dynamic lighting at 'high').

Holding down the right mouse button works for me. Left mouse button and you can move the camera with the interface remaining, right mouse button and you can move the camera and the interface vanishes.

An absolutely beautiful port.

Fortunately I have a premium account most of the time.

I know, but not everything. You have to be careful to get an angle that doesn't include the cursor and you always keep the 'World of Warships' logo.

I want to be able to make a screenshot that looks as if it is a picture from real-life, without the logo.

And I am not handy with ye olde photoshoppe.. :hiding:

Yeah, it didn't seem likely you didn't know about that. Is simple enough to trim off the watermark (MS Paint for-the-win), but agree it would be hard to make it look like a picture from real-life. Though that said there's probably some filter or something for some art package or other that I am blissfully unaware. Good luck with this.

I really like the harbour, best point is to see the complete ships in dry yards.

But i miss more harbour typicall sounds, feeling ist not fully there.

after a long time
Finally, a port was built

Very attractive

But remember have some Weaknesses

Most users play

The mean age of high

We see a locomotive in this new port
Which is just childish and silly made
And move around aimlessly ship

Members User of this game

Are not children
Watch cartoons

If the user could edit port
I made the most attractive port

Interestingly and surprisingly still undiscovered in the game!

Human who have not yet discovered ( soldiers. Sailors. Captain. Officers. Guards )
Not surprisingly, in your opinion?

The big question is:

Why are developers so bad taste ?

how much time is needed

We expect to see the best and most attractive port

Please remove the animation for children (locomotives and trucks)

Also delete Lilliput on maps  (Towns and villages built along the beach )
Very, very poor and are badly designed

We are not children
The game should be our age limit
