Well W.G, here you managed to demonstrate again how high a quality of 3D work your teams are capable of, it's a great looking ship, i don't think you will delete your Maya files for her just to make sure you wont be tempted....

 

I  know many players can start jumping up and down of the idea of subs playing in W'G, but we have CVs and they can be a complete pain in the back when they are there, only one look at their kill ratio will confirm that, but how about let us play subs such as this loverly Type SH against bots?

 

This way you would be able to develop and fine tune a new aspect of this game, even if you decide not to introduce subs in other rooms.

 

It wouldn't take much in fact, 4 extra keys for up/down, periscope depth and surface, passive sonar on, with consumables for detection longer range and higer underwater speed, unverwater maps which doesn't need to be as developed as that of the surface considering the look possible for this environment.

 

How about that?

 

You manage this, even limited to Co-Op, i'll buy the first premium you put on sale, granted.

Actually....you could  have  submerge  as a  consumable...like  smoke...with the same  effects.............periscope  like a  spotter aircraft  but  short  duration......just an idea.....and hydro.

You actually want a boat with a max speed similar to a mid-tier american battleship going at 1/2 speed, with a turning radius of over a kilometer, with one destroyer-caliber gun, and torpedoes that can only be fired directly forward?

because we totally do not have already in game a branch going with much higher top speeds than historical records say for the sake of "balance"?

True, plus it's a submarine, so it will be able to submerge and carry stealth strikes, like the real thing no? More to it, how many BB players spend most of their time at 1/4 speed?

 

Speed is less than an issue for a sub, the U-Boats and USN boats proved that with quiet a high rate of success, of course survivability was low  in soem case but the game with sub should be fun vs bots.

 

I was thinking about introducing a mission such as a specific convoy mission for the subs vs an escorted all-bots convoy, it should be fun, if only in regard to the Russian subs war, if you had a look at this video:
