Weekend premium subscription!

Hi,

I would like to suggest WG about premium subscription.

Idea is about those players who play during weekends.

We have already know that there are players who only play during weekends.

I kindly suggest to WG if they make something like "weekend subscription" for premium account.

Those who buy that premium package will get active premium account during each weekends.

WG can make the package for 3 months, 6 months & 1 year subscription.

How about this idea?

Feel free to discuss about this topic please.

Thanks

Will it come with preferred MM so you get matched against the weekend potato horde?

He is a weekend "hidden potato" horde :teethhappy:

In seriousness folk have asked for a time played Prem account rather than a set period but WG would lose money.

There's a reason why 360 day Item is seemingly cheap as you won't play anything near the full game time.

I will not say that your proposal does not have its merits but mostly these types of subscriptions whether its a games or newspapers are often that expensive in relation to full time.

After all the benefits of premium time in grinding/financing your play is rather high compared to a cost of 10-20 cents a say (residue Days).

Better to have good offers for 1/2 year etc.

Potatoes play, during weekdays days, and the kids etc must be better than the weekday, day self congratulators. I am a potato, check my stats out, however, I do better during weekday days, bit of a piece of p*ss. I then have greater trouble at night and at weekends. So how are the weekend players worse. Is it like my sons attitude, when I beat him at Risk, I played wrong.

Just asking, interested in others theories where my experience does not reflect the g*bby sh*ts on this forum.

A "Weekend Warrior" subscription.

WG could even make a "Weekend Warrior Deluxe" edition, where they include a special flag. (potato flag)

Same logic could be applied to this proposal. If you have a 6 month to 1 year weekend only subscription that activates everyweekend. Doesn't mean you will be on every weekend end for the etirety of it. So they'd still make money.

Just saves people every weekend having to purchase individual days on the weekend like a guy i know does.

Actually the idea has merit. There are a lot of people who are financially challenged enough that it might generate extra income.

It would have to be thought out a bit for start and end times, and pricing it will take some work.

I tried calculating a reasonable number based on the price/day depending on the current premium days if you go with 13 / 26 / 52 weekends. For purpose of weekend I'm taking friday 19:00 until monday 07:00 (somewhat similar to the weekend public transport passes in the Netherlands), so basically 2,5 days. Making the 13 weekend a total of 32,5 days, rounding up because business means 33 days, the 26 weekend package would be 65 days, and the 52 weekend would be 130 days,

For comparison the list of current packages (all prices are in euro)

Days premium (total price) Price per day
1 day 1,09
3 days (2,85) 0.95
7 days (5,25) 0.75
14 days (7,35) 0.525
30 days (9,95) 0.332
90 days (27,45) 0.305
180 days (47,25) 0.2625
360 days (80,39) 0.2233

So the 52 weekends package should be in between the 180 and 90 day packages, at around 0,28 / day: 36.40

The 26 weekend package in between the 30 and 90 day package at around 0,32 / day: 20,80

And finally the 13 weekend package, the one I find most difficult to price as it contains slightly more days than the 30 day subscription, but is spread out over longer. I'd suggest the price to be slightly higher as the 30 day because of that: 0,35/day for a total of 11,55.

Yeah no, it has not. Ask WG if they are OK with this plan if you like, but as a company, dont think they will oblige.

So OP, you finally decided to stay on the forums? Guess its not as bad as you moaned back then (couple of weeks ago) huh?

The idea has absolutely a merit, although pricing suggested by you is IMO way off from what I'd expect to see. I think from WG perspective most valid refference point is how it works now - multiple purchases of 1 day premium time, not average price per day as in 14, 30 days, etc.

So 4 weekends I'd expect to be sold around 8,40-8,50 Euro. 13 weekends package I see rather in in the area of 20-25 Euro.

Remember - it is not about giving more discounts, but about convenience and flexibility.

I don't think anything will come from this topic anyway, but I wanted to see if I could come up with a decent subscripton method instead of shooting it down straight away.

It would require a business analysis to see if the projected income from people who do not buy premium time at the moment, and possible shifts of those who buy 1 or 3 days at the start of a weekend would compare to a weekend subscription and people who now  buy 90/180/360 day subscriptions but would prefer weekend subscriptions. In other words, not something we here on the forum have the data for.

Also, pricing would most likely have to be different, and more in line with the 3 day premium package for it to make sense for a business instead of what I did :)

What's wrong with buying doubloons and then unlocking a premium day with them when needed?

Of course it is about more discount. Regarding flexibility you already have the max because you can buy 24 hours as many times as you need

(edit: well, I would gladly see selling premium per hour, but WG will never go for that :coin:)

If you read my earlier post you would see that I am not, just my experiences show that the weekday, day is a lot easier, so I expect that is why most forum gurus are against them. Trying to get the truth out there as opposed to the rantings of the few chicken hearts on here. PS war is random, and not everyone plays to the rules, get a life, and you may find out

WG already answered this earlier, however I'm not really in the mood to dig for sources.

Basically, such kind of special prem time bundles or premium time that can be activated or "switched off" at will will not be introduced, becase the XP-, and credit flags exist practically for this exact reason. Tl;dr they say "You want premium exactly when you actually play the game? Buy flags."

let me tell you why we dont like weekends: we have already enough potatoes playing this game and the amount of potatoes get much bigger on weekends. and those weekend potetoes are beyond bad. they do unbelievable things, which make no sense at all. thats why we dont like weekends.
