Captains,

 

Please post all bug reports using the following template:


1. Description
Clear and substantial description containing all necessary details.
Example: the cruiser Aoba: scout is inoperable.
 
2. Reproduction steps
A sequence of the player's actions which triggered the bug.
Example: 1. Select the cruiser Aoba 2. Enter the battle (Training or Random Battle). 3. Try to launch the scout.
 
3. Result
In-game experience resulting from the bug.
Example: When you press the scout activation button, you can hear the sound, but nothing actually happens. The aircraft stands still on the catapult.
 
4. Expected result
In-game experience which should have occurred if no bug is present.
Example: The scout has to be launched by the catapult.
 
5. Technical details
Example: Bug time: about 19:30 (UTC).Replay (attempt at 01:00), python.log, DxDiag.

If you encounter this error, please zip your ~\crashes\ folder, upload it to any online file storage and add the link to your report.

1. Description
The new Russian Tier 8 Destroyer OGNEVOI 's torpeedo launchers on the front are clipping the deck in front of it. (Only at Hull B).

 

2. Reproduction steps

1. Go to port.

2. Choose the Tier 8 Russian DD OGNEVOI.

3. Upgrade the gun modules to "130mm/55 B-2-U" from "130mm/50 B-2LM".

4. Upgrade the hull to "B" from "A".

5. Zoom in to the ship's torpeedo launchers on the front.

6. Observe that the two torpeedos on the top of the launcher are clipping the deck infront of them. Literally going into it. 

 

3. Result

Visual incorrection.

 

4. Expected result

Because the torpeedos are squuezed in there, just delete the little deck part or raise it up a little.

1. Description
Cliping Superfiring (front and back) turrets on Amagi and Nagato (as they have same guns)
 
2. Reproduction steps
1. Select Nagato/Amagi.

2. Aim you guns a bit to left or right down.

 
3. Result
Barrel of superfiring turret clips with some thing on top of the roof of turret in front.
 
4. Expected result
Turrets should not clip with anything

Description

Team Killer count is not decrementing after completing battle without damaging team mates.

 

Reproduction steps

1. Get team killer penalty.

2. Complete a battle without causing any damage to team mates.

 

Result

Team killer penalty does not get reduced. Seems intermittent. Have to close game client and relog in order to get it to start reducing the team killer count.

 

Expected result

Team killer penalty game count is reduced by one.

 

Technical details

The problem is intermittent so cannot reproduce and not going to deliberately get team killer status again just to try to reproduce.

1. Description
Aircraft Carrier Saipan is not show the camo when she is not bought and you are viewing her.
 
2. Reproduction steps
1. Go in to the "Tech tree" . 2. Click on Saipan and view her and see she has no camo on.
 
3. Result
You see Saipan without her premium camo on.
 
4. Expected result
Click on Saipan and see her with camo,AA,Planes,

1. Description

Got the "Critical Error Occurred" box trying to start the game after the update.

 

Two crash files attached to this post.

 

[edit] Running the the game client check from the Launcher resulted in another ~820MB download, and the game now starts.

1. Description

Gneisenau: Can not select target for secondaries nor AA when having captain with Manual Fire Control for Secondary Armament
 
2. Reproduction steps

Play the ship, try to select any target - planes or ships.


3. Result
Nothing happens, cursor doesn't change shape but behaves like if hovering over a friendly (or nothing).
 
4. Expected result
Expect to be able to select targets manually
 
5. Technical details
None

1. Description
Dissapering / Ghost ships during battle
 
2. Reproduction steps
Start the game and observe the sea :)
 
3. Result
Pls have a look at:

(starting 11:55) 

Why IOWA near IZUMO is accideentaly dissapearing and then suddenly re-appearing?
There is a plenty of videos showin same bug.


On YT you can find many videos with same WOWS issues

 


4. Expected result

Ships shoud not dissapear / re-appear accidentaly. These are not GHOSTS !
 

5. Technical details

Battle starts, some ships dissapear accidentaly. But it is random.
For sure this issue has been reported to the Support.

IT IS NOT ONLY THE LATEST PATCH BUG.

Arp Voices Bug?

In the previus patch we could replace the arpeggio voices with other languages with english in default with Settings/Audio/Voiceover modification with English/Standard for example.

In the latest patch that can not be done.

I have made all available language compilations, I even renamed the Arpeggio folder in res/audio file, deleted it or copied EnglishUS and named it Arpeggio.

Also checked the game's data integrity twice!

Still instead of english i continue to hear those aufull Arp voices.

Am I doing something wrong or in this patch those voices are BUGED?

Had a game in my izumo today. Was waiting for the heal to come off CD, 2 seconds left i start spamming "T" , and when the timer runs down to 0 nothing happens and it freezes at 0 seconds for 20 seconds.

When i press T again after the 20 seconds, the heal goes off, but the icon shows some wierd numbers and symbols.

Unable to use cursor to designate priority targets for secondary batteries and AA guns.
 
2. Reproduction steps
1. Select a ship with secondary and/or AA guns.

2. Enter a battle.

3. Attempt to designate a target for the secondary batteries and/or AA guns with the cursor.
 
3. Result
The target will neither light up nor will it be possible to select it.
 
4. Expected result
The target gets selected as a priority target for the secondary batteries.
 
5. Technical details
Possibly related: Playing in Full-screen windowed mode.

Bug comes and goes, no idea what causes it.

Alt-tabbing does not resolve the problem. Other elements of the UI (such as consumables and shell types) are selectable.

I have found that it is possible to workaround the problem by changing minimap options. After changing an option the UI will work as intended.

1. Description
When playing on the map "Sea of Fortune" you can shoot the Castle at A, and the shells pass within it to the other side and comes out
 
2. Reproduction steps
Click battle (training room, random battle, co-op) and play on "Sea of Fortune". Go to A. Shoot castle. See shells go in it and come out other side.
 
3. Result
You hide behind the castle expecting to be safe, but shells go in it and comes out the other side and hits you.
 
4. Expected result
Shoot the castle and the shells explode on its wall. Keeping you safe on the other side. Expect something that big to be able to provide cover and not think your safe and then suddenly get shot becasue what you tought was cover, was not cover at all

The aft turret on Admiral Hipper turned almost 360 degrees inside the ship's hull.
2. Reproduction steps
Could not find out how it happened
3. Result
Both cannon barrels went through the hull
4. Expected result

 Should have stop at some point.

 

Both barrels were inside the hull but I didn't manage to take that screenshot.

New patch and yet NO FIX for the Arpeggio voices!

I want to turn them OFF. Do something about it as you did in previus patches. Unless you fix one thing and damage another in each upgrade.

If enabled, own music is randomly crashing the game.
 
2. Reproduction steps
1. Put custom music in the proper folder.

2. Enable "Listen to your own music".

3. Enter a battle.

 
3. Result
Crash to desktop.
 
4. Expected result
Playing the game without crashes.

 

5. Technical details

There are problems with custom music since 0.5.16.1. The memory leak of that version was fixed, but somehow the feature is not working properly.

The first and second barrel of turret number 2 of the New Orleans turns through the little viewing port of turret number 1

 

2. Reproduction steps

Turn the turrets at the lowest elevation.

 

3. Result

Barrels clip through the viewing port

 

4. Expected Results

Slightly lower turret number 1 or higher turret number 2

Happened also to me twice (so far) in 6.2, while playing Gneisenau.

Same as stated above. Can't select target for manual secondaries or manual aa. Ships where I noticed it: Minotaur, Bismarck, Moskva. No mods installed.

Team kill penalty goes from 5 games to 4 games after as expected. It then takes a further minimum of 19 games with no damage caused to allies to clear the penalty.

 

4. Expected result

Ths has been going on for several patches now and it has not been addressed. Its a basic game function and would not take much to fix

To reduce from 5 game penalty to 4 games works correctly

To go from 4 games to 0 penalty takes 20 clear games 

If it not a bug and as intended please have it show the correct number of games if takes 20 games so be it but don't say 4 games when in reality it is not

I noticed the same issue but not so many games to clear the penalty, at least for me. So i confirm there is a bug round it.
