These were recognition patterns, implemented after the Battle of Punta Stilo (where Italian bombers, after the battle, bombed by mistake the Italian ships as well, although with no damage done). Also, I see wingmounted triple torpedo launchers there, though the quick Wikipedia page said nothing about torpedo armament on that class in its article, neither for the ship itself or its class of ships. Given the current MM situation I have very, very little inclination on purchasing any premium ships in the tiers V and VI. Nevermind that I vowed to myself to be conservative with my wallet in the first place pending a reduction of WG shenanigans. Look at those dual Kirov guns, the slender, Budyonny like shape. Joking aside, nice to finally see a representative of the Regia Marina at last. Now we just need Dutch, Swedish, Greek, Turkish, Spanish and South American premiums to round out the smaller nations. (Though I would still prefer a minor nations tree.
