[INSF] Fulminis Beta Tester 7 posts 1,787 battles Report post #1 Posted March 6, 2017 This is it, after the introduction of the Frech tech tree, it is clear that wargaming doesn't give a Flying ........ about italian navy, and about the italian market as well probably we italians don't spend enough money in order to justify any investment on the italian tech tree, which is understandble. So I just ask italian fellows to stop asking for Regia Marina ships, I found it umiliating on our side to ask for something which, gamewise, should have been there, with all respect to other nation, before polish or panasian ships even if only on premium side. Some one may come up with blueprints issues, but I assure you that is not the case, other games which I will not mention have italian wargear in place. This will not stop me, or I think other italians to play the game, but I think is cear WG policy on tech trees. This is a thought i'd like to share with italian players. And since it has been hinted that the Roma will come as premium BB this year, we won't have to wait THAT long anymore. That we get zillions of russian ships with no history worth mentioning for economical reasons is a little stale, but understandable. But trust me, it is not just Italians waiting for those splendid ships. And also the British, arguably the most powerful navy in the world at the outbreak of WW2, have only one shabby tree so far, so there are a lot of holes in WGs OOB. However, let's not give up. I somewhat felt that this was how it was going to be (i.e. Italian ship lines and premiums being given a lowish priority), not just because of the size of the Italian market but also because of difficulties (i.e. Italian archives being difficult to access). But that doesn't mean that it won't come. And to me, that means more than the few Pan-Asian, Polish or Commonwealth premiums given around just for marketing, basically. I look forward to playing this game with Italian ship, as well. But I knew from the beginning it would take a lot of time. So I'm ready to wait somewhat more. Let's not forget, it looks like we could get one or maybe even two Italian premiums this year. I hope this to be true, as they will be the confirmation about WG's intentions. The fans of some nations will naturally have to wait longer then others. We have some very die-hard fans of the italian navy on this server but other nations have those as well. Ciao If you spit your dummy out, it doesn't really help. Look at the poor Brits. They still only have one line out despite being a major navel power (clearly in the top 3)! Perhaps looking at the time between Dunkerque and the first tree can give us an estimation when to expect the first Italian tree now that Roma is announced. It was the same for the German BBs - Tirpitz came first, then the rest of the battleships came later. So I'd say... Italian tree in late 2017/early 2018? French line has already been officially confirmed to happen Soon™ and we've likewise been promised more British ships for later this year, so I'd imagine Italians are after that. And it's not just Italians looking forward to the Regia Marina. I'm German and I'm excited for the Littorio-class, Conte di Cavour and Zara... very much so. I'd consider myself pretty unbiased since I'm Spanish but honestly I'm looking forward to Italian ships more than I can about RN and French ones together (with all respect to those navies), but yeah, Italian ships seem more interesting and some of them are pretty beautiful. To OP: It seems that the BB Roma will be realeased maybe this year as a premium BB, so maybe we don't see a proper Italian line this year but we'll see Italian ships in the future and you and Italians aren't the only ones waiting for them so as always, have a little more patience.
