Ranked Season 6 Hardest Rank Up's

Good afternoon forum,

 

As the topic states I am curious as to which rank was the most difficult for you to pass and maybe why? For me I stagnated allot at Rank 10, like almost 4 days and after that again a bit at Rank 5 but nothing similar to Rank 10. After 334 battles the season is finally over for me and I am curious as to what ranks you, the player base have had the most trouble to pass.

Just shy of 300 games, most battles spent around Rank 3-5.

Rank 5 was the worst cesspit of back and forth I have ever experienced in ranked battles. I spent almost two weeks in rank 5, then got to 4 and dropped to 8, then to 3 and back to 4, now just made it to 2 and scared to press battle. I want it over, and the more I want to get to rank 1 the more difficult it gets. I am now 5 battles away from rank 1 but know it won't simply be 5 battles, it will be a lot more again....frustrating.

 

I find that in games I played well I lost and dropped rank, in games where I played marginally ok I managed to move forward. Can someone explain this to me?

Well you did really well cause the team did not do anything and you did marginally ok because everyone did there jobs

Don't worry brother I had the exact same thing at 10 I just did not drop bellow 11 cause its easier to rank up at that section, only reason.

R5 and R6 is a brutal spot, I'm sure that the majority of players skate between the First League and Premier Leagues as it's quite a step up in skill. If you can stay in the Premier League then you'll likely get Rank 1.

a was a lot around rank 10 and 8  and now I'am stuck at 5, last 15 battles 1 star up and than down to 6 and 2 star and tha back to 5 with 0 star - 2 days in row..

 

Now i will try other tactic - i will play 8-10 rank games every day no matter that i lose or win just 8-10 batlles for 3-4 days and than I will see where I'am  - it is very stresfull..

Yeah It really is. I would have done it in less as well but insited on playing the damn belfast whilst I should have just stuck to Shira. Oh well lesson learned.

Rank 5 , i was stuck for 2 days then i pulled on try hard pants, 

 

Was playing mahan more for damage an realized its not the way to play in premier league so i tried to help out the team as much as possible .. Myoko also treated me well

Started around rank 16 I think and from there it was pretty smooth sailing to around rank 10 with Blyska. Had some pretty nice defeat streaks there and decided to freexp the Fiji and it turned out to be the right choice. Easy road all the way to rank 3 I guess but the transition to rank 2 was something of a grind. Had to play probably around 15 games there. After that nothing really special. All in all took 118 games to reach rank 1.

I guess it depends on what rank you start aswell and what ship you use. you get some horrible teams at the start but its also easy to retain your star

Well I'd imagine most of the top folk started around Rank 12 or whatever it was for Premier League citizens.

 

Anyone who does it under 100 games NEEDS to go in early I think as so many games now are ruined by utterly clueless potatoes. Can probably write off a 3rd of all games because of such folk

Well got relatively decent games yesterday as I did manage to get from 5 to 1 , but both games I had you on my team we lost horribly you jinx me Negativvv

I personally started at 18 if I remember correctly

No! Irrevocable cause problems as potatoes get higher than they should.

 

I've played in 3 seasons now and I've never fallen more than a few ranks. It tends to level out and you end up where you deserve after enough games.

 

I remember you using Belfast and was more willing to take risks unlike the masses that end up alone in smoke with full HP...

I'm stuck at Rank 1, no way to even find a match here

151 from 23 to 1 - stuck at 5 for a short time, took me like 10 games to 4. from there it was almost a walkthrough to 1. switched playing style in the lower 5 from carrying team (taking out DDs myself fast, capping, taking the edge over time) to more supporting by providing cover, capping and scouting while letting the teammates take out enemies)

4 ranked battles and satisfied to rank 17. Got enough by this season.

We played a few battles together in R5, won some, lost some. Problem is now, that most of the good players are out, there are some medium players and the bad ones. 

 

I played more than 300 games already, and i am still at R5, maybe it will get better, but i am worried that it may take too much time to rank out. You perosnally did a good job, but the most frustrating thing is, people don't want to learn that, if you have 10 points advantage, defend it, not charge in like a moron and die and lose points for the team.

got to rank 5 with some 70% WR in blyska and ~40k average damage, then it hit the fan... smoke meta, belfasts, shiras and had rank moving between 4 and 6... overall blyska dropped to 58% WR and 30k average damage.. then i took fiji and got to rank 1 in 49 battles with 61% WR.

 

playing dd past rank 5 is really ungrateful unless you have shira and know what you are doing with it. maybe mahan is also good cause it has 9.5km torps.

 

also lot of battles were lost when we had definite advantage in points, but my teammates just decided to push cause they either wanted top xp spot in case they lose (ffs we were winning) or they just wanted to shoot people.

I got to R1 in Sims, my damage and PR utterly suck but no points for smoking and protecting your team!!

 

Problem is with a DD you rely on others killing what you spot and in bigger ships you rely on DDs screening you. 

 

I decided that it's better to do the spotting and smoking as even bad players are ok at shooting things.

We only met once in game and I think we lost together. You were using the Shira. 

 

Just need to keep fighting and not lose heart. For me in both seasons I hit R1 in I got hard carry moments where I wasn't going to be denied and I got there 

 

I had Rank 2 and 4 stars and literally lost a game with 992 points, fell to R2 and 1 star but didn't lose heart.
