[SCRUB] Leo_Apollo11 Quality Poster 7,146 posts 31,536 battles Report post #1 Posted February 25, 2017 Hi all, Serious problem / bug / issue with "Situation Awareness" / "Priority Target" & "Incoming Fire Alert" when they are all active at once! Thy all occupy the SAME place on screen and obscure eachother! In other words if you have all those skills activated the "Situation Awareness" / "Priority Target" will get obscured with constant "Incoming Fire Alert" and you will never get info that you are detected in the first place! The easy and simple solution is to place "Situation Awareness" & "Priority Target" on one side of center of the screen and "Incoming Fire Alert" on other side of the center of the screen... KaraMon Players 4,154 posts 9,221 battles Report post #2 Posted February 25, 2017 But you know that if you are detected (situational awarness is active) and priority target kicks in it still means that you are detected ? There is no issue because it only shows how many ships are aiming at you. And don't use incoming fire alert , it is noobtrap and you can get same info from priority target alone , if someone is aiming they are most likely shooting at you :p

The problem is that if the "Incoming Fire Alert" is constantly present on screen you NEVER see that you are detected at all! Leo "Apollo11"

Doesn't incoming fire alert require a target lock to work, so you have to be detected while it is up?

When you are in smoke it is very important to know how you are detected... also why having the "Priority Target" skill and not knowing how many enemies are targeting you (because of bad UI)? I posted it on Reddit: ""Serious problem / bug / issue with "Situation Awareness" & "Priority Target" & "Incoming Fire Alert" when they are all active at once!"" also there is previously reported issue as well: "PSA: Priority Target disables Hydro/Radar detection icon" https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldOfWarships/comments/5oybst/psa_priority_target_disables_hydroradar_detection/ Leo "Apollo11"
pra3y Players 3,021 posts 11,390 battles Report post #8 Posted February 26, 2017 To be honest why do you need both ICF and PT? It may be better to just pick whichever you're more comfortable with (for me ICF on all my CAs) and spend that extra point somewhere.

It may be better to just pick whichever you're more comfortable with (for me ICF on all my CAs) and spend that extra point somewhere. I use it on my "Fiji" in Ranked - it is good to exactly know when and what is happening around you whilst in smoke! But this is beside point here - there clearly is a bug in WoWs UI that simply doesn't show all info when it should be (for example the 2nd Reddit thread where it is reported that "Priority Target" skill alone breaks the info about Radar/Hydro detection)... IF someone takes them both, one should never obstruct intel coming from the other. It might not be the best investment but if someone makes it, he should at least get what he paid for. Exactly - thanks! BTW, even if you only have "Priority Target" skill it breaks the info about Radar/Hydro detection (check the 2nd Reddit thread I posted link above)... pra3y Players 3,021 posts 11,390 battles Report post #13 Posted February 26, 2017 Fair enough. However i think u should put PT on one side and SA and ICF on the other. If u get PTed you're already spotted so On the other hand ICF seem to work even when im in smoke recently for some reason even though the shots are off and im not spotted.
