Good thing storm was coming. Minute or two later didn't have to anymore take fire from three BBs and had even two heals (out of five) left for rest of the map. Then first that Fiji suicided by running into my torps, and Gneisenau came to inside 8km entering straight to my secondary range. I wasn't trying to say what actually happened, just what could be seen there. I realized that one single screenshot is not enough to show what happened during the whole battle. You guys asked questions and i gave my best to answer. It's incredibly campy, as there's a single line of islands that provide cover, and trying to cross that line means almost certain doom. On the other hand, if one team manages to take enough ground to drive the other team away from that line, then the game is pretty much decided. I am in DD - I solo CAPed the B and I am holding the whole flank (there is nobody there except me and CV below me - CV didn't spot BTW) - all ships are still alive on both sides (5 mins into game) please note the position of our two other DDs: Long story short - we lost - my team never got C and I died all alone defending the B and the flank... We were just one tick away from victory but then the enemies contested all caps. So we encouraged our teammates to atleast not die. But as usual in our lovely game, our teammates had no such intentions. 1) Alsace. The battleship came out of his hiding place broadsided to a des moines who he only had to blap with AP. But the RNG Gods werent so favourable as to bless us with AP shooting battleships which lead to his untimely demise. Okay, next up was our solo warrior the Kidd. Only thing he had to do was run away and stay alive. Couldnt be to hard right? Against no radars, no CVs, no DDs....? Think again. 2) The Kidd. As our hero made his way to the cap he encountered their Monarch who he tried to yolo rush and torp. Got killed. .......................................
