So the Alabama will come soon to EU.

Naturally the yankees are already aware of this and not very pleased EU gets the announcement first.

Cant say i blame them ships should have a universal release date imo.

Yes! I'm in need of a new premium fix and this will be perfect instead of getting an Iowa.

Although I agree. Our cousins across the Atlantic should get it first. They do love their USN ships and you've gotta admire their patriotism.

for something as minor as one premium ship, I dont really care.

its not like they're giving NA 500K free xp flags for the same price that we just get the ship.

Missouri is also much more expensive

Yes, a lot of free XP, but not money unless you decide to spend some.

I already own Texas, Arizona and Missouri.

I'd rather they showed IJN BBs some love and gave them a Silver Ship with buffs but then people would whine at P2W and want to accept under powered Hull A ships instead :sceptic:

Maybe if the price is right but I have every tech tree USN BB from T6 to T10 and I barely get round to them all as it is.

USS Alabama

You might have seen already few special Alabamas with the fearsome Kraken camo in game - but March will also bring Live tests of their regular Premium version!

Interesting concept of soon wargaming is using.

Also what more testing does the regular Alabama need over the squid Alabama ?

It's a re-skinned North Carolina isn't it.

Why did it have to be yet another US ship? Why not British, Italian, French, Dutch?

"Because, you can go fun yourself! That's why." - WG

Why not the Hood speaking of British ship? Or the King George V... Or the Dreadnought... Or the Vanguard...

Oh, don't worry, there will be more premius other than US ones. But you didn't guess any of the nations. But I'm sure you'll be gladly surprised by the awesome and mighty Russian ships to come.

I just can't wait for that.

So it is. I can see the difference now. A fine looking ship, but I'm not opening my wallet for anything other than a British or Italian battleship

Yeah... Basicly, a North Carolina look alike... Just shorter. Nice... :child:

I await WGs new series of videos: "Naval Fantasy Paper" with fantastical vessels like Super Yam beating BBs and CVs with nuclear bombers and X Wings :hiding:

I don't mind "paper ships" as long as there were blueprints for them, or if there were some other concrete and realistic plans to actually build them. History wanted it otherwise for many ship designs. Many "paper ships" might actually have been built if it weren't for certain historical developments (historical events or technological advances/changes). Completely fictional ships on the other hand, that's a no no for me.

Perhaps but I would not like game that most of the matchup consists of paper designs. It is a difference to sink a Yamato, Iowa compered with Roons, Zaos and GK.

For me at least.
