Lately i been try to doing the Event 'Lunar new year Marathon' cause i'm free to play player so is more efficiency to just pick one nation and stick with it. because i'm that i'm already have a Tier 9 ship and averagely get in top 5 of EXP result most of the time, that i extremely rare to get to last 5 spot in last of EXP result. Also i'm spend more time in Test sever so i'm kinda have a lot of EXP. so back to original point, the event need us to play 4 nation ships Tier 5 above and get 20000 base EXP with it. before that i'm playing a lot of Japan CV so i'm really experience with CV control. cause of event i decide to play USA CV. ( cause low tier dont have AA) and i'm abuse enemy CV (most of them didn't even get a single attack in lol, cause i'm use manual attack ) and rarely not to come top of EXP table. i winning so much that i feel like my team it just a bot. even know i'm doing all the work my team still have disadvantage 4 ships down or something like that. but at the even i'm still come out with about 60% win.. even know i'm always in top 1. but then the last bit of the event, i decide to do USSR nation last and i'm current in Tier 4 CA, mostly i'm coming in top 1 and 2 for EXP table. but the worse part is i been play 20 game so far and 19 lose and 1 win... i meant how..... let me hear you suggest and what you think cause my win rate is 53% but how i meant to change that if i'm doing well and my team don't. 1st maybe because i have Tier 9 ship and the system just put me with experience player.. Or it could mean you are hurting the team by some kind of bad play. 1 in 20 is a bit much to be all bad luck. But I guess it could happen. Try to sink some ships and try to help your team. [A41] _Agent_ [A41] Players 55 posts 9,203 battles Report post #4 Posted February 13, 2017 losing streaks are common, the same as winning streaks. 19 is kinda extreme i can recall 10 losses in a row often enough to make me turn the game off. so 9 losses 1 win then 10 losses is just some bad luck with matchmaker(bots/afks/potatoes on your team) this is perfectly normal when you think about the large number of games being played. a 60% win rate doesn't mean you win 6 out of the next 10 battles. it means on average you do. but you could lose 10 then win 14 then lose 2 then win 4. This is basicly just yet another version of other threads on this forum... I mean "my average is 3 ship kill" when the truth is 0.88. I mean, I've not even bothered with the mission, and I'm practically done (if not already done, considering I just left a Fletcher game I'm probably getting the last few xp). I just play to get the daily win every other day or so, and I've gotten enough experience to go around. I only have one SN ship, Shchors, and I don't have any USN ships I'm grinding, but I do play Benson and Fletcher once in a while, because they're just fun to play. This. 6 victories in 14 battles with the Svietlana is far from 1 victory in 20 battles. Maybe it is bad luck, maybe you played with the stock ship, maybe you were drunk so your performance suffered... There is no "Oh, he got a tier 9 ship, so let's match him against super purple players". No matter what your highest tier is, you can always find players of all skill levels in your match up. 2nd: Also no. Why should they? It would only need additional ressources of the match maker and lead to longer queue times. Besides other difficulties. Players can [edited] up by themselves. There is no need for WG to intervene. A while ago I read a rule of thumb by a player regarding the win rate. I can't recall the excat wording and numbers but it went something like this: If you are 100% afk in your matches, you still have a win rate of about 40-45%. Depending on your skill level and playing habit you can add up to 15-20% to this number. Which means even the most skilled player can carry his/her team only so far. But it is still a team game and if the team as a whole decide to screw it up, no skill level can help you. But you can still improve so stop exaggerating your stats and carry harder. Discounting you not understanding the difference between 1.2 and 3, it's not really less planes than you would expect a CV to kill. Last night I played about 10 games in my Yūgumo (which is my best ship) and I couldn't get a single win. And my WR in that has dropped from about 60% to 45%.
