I have played with Belfast all trough rank 12 and it is very good ship, can be a game changer but also you can get early double 18km away RNGjesus citadel hit bcs you got spoted for few sec. by the enemy cv plane - but ok it is a very good ship in a hand of player who know how to play with it and who knows what to do and what is your primery job.. The way from the first smoke to the next is dangerous, you will be melted down. Its 20 min of 2 fleets covered in smoke. Thnks WG, you have broken the game mechanichs. BORING AS HELL. Except then it would be absolutely dominated by BB's. Every tier has issues, it's less that one tier is worse than another and more that apparently WG has no clue how to balance premiums, and their excuse is people need incentive to buy them. Folk accuse you of camping when you sit a little further back and the guns over pen a hell of a lot vs cruisers. I've switched to P2W Scharn for now. Belfast is insane, even though i haven't won a game on her yet i haven't lost a star either. But I find the gameplay desperately boring, just a shorter range Kutuzov with no torp surprise. Not sure if I really want to go into ranked, I was planning to use my Blys until I got Fiji but it seems I may just hold off. Lots of Yo Lang DD CA was almost always Atago or Kutuzov and there was high Volume of Tirpitz. Apart from BBs the only viable non prem ship was Benson At least tier 7 has lots of Viable non Prem ships. Like tier 8 All the non Prem BBs are Viable .I would argue Gneisenau is better than Scharnhorst for ranked Guns have more Punch and Her AA makes her almost impervious to a tier 7 CV. the other tier 7 BBs are also good. CA Myoko and her many clones can hold there own and the Fiji has a lot to bring. DDs Shiratsuyu is pretty much best DD to Bring. Benson, Chapayev with radar, ARP Takao that anyone could get, Bismarck, Amagi, North carolina, Shokaku, old Fubuki, now add Kagero and Akizuki, Edinburgh... Yea, completely dominated by premiums... I did expect to see more Leningrads, but they are few. However the Belfasts, if in good hands, they can turn the game. Good camo and that gamebraking radar makes caps hard to win if they are in range. Another thing about Belfasts, some times when Im in smoke I never get any radar/sonar warning or even detection warning, still I am suddenly hit by many ships. If I was very close or shot or was detected before I popped smoke I may not react, but when entire enemy team (those in firerange) suddenly opens fire while I am in the middle of the smoke (as in blob and halfetime), something dont work as intended. Its always a Belfast on enemy team not too far away. Never experienced this before. You should get a detectionwarning if spotted. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I always seem to do bad in my Belfast no matter what, i am far too aggressive in it so i end up deleted but if i sit back i do nothing i cannot find my happy medium. I want to use my blyth but radar and hydro says no. Atlanta is great but only if you have a CV in game, even so without CV in game it has radar but is weaker than the belfast i find. Shiny horse i would like to take but frankly i do not want fires all the time. Saipan i would proberly suck in, i use DB rarther than torps. So far this season it is pop smoke and camp, if you push and be agressive you tend to get fires and die not too mention if your team does not help because sat in smoke you are fucked and DD do not like to spot and for good reason with 3 radars every game.
