How can you have a WAR Ships game without SUBS, Stop messing about with the game engine, put the game back to how it used to be a year ago and get the Submarines in. why show ships with depth charges if your not going to have subs in the game, That is just giving false hope to all the players who want subs. CleverViking Players 503 posts 1,982 battles Report post #5 Posted February 4, 2017 The only good thing about subs is that it would scare BBs (and other classes) into sticking with the rest of the team rather than hanging back. Apart from that it would only be frustrating to play against and extremely annoying to get killed by. We already have invisible DDs which fill the role subs would have anyway, with the one caveat that they can be spotted if they get too close. Subs would be able to release torps from 2-3km with little risk and at that range you won't miss. There's a reason why they haven't been added and why they'll never be added. Lol....nobody said that you can't hack here...it's just that hacking here is completely useless. If you're so bad at wows you need to hack, even hacks won't save you why show ships with depth charges if your not going to have subs in the game, That is just giving false hope to all the players who want subs. It's the same as debating the ridiculous TK system. Submarines are no ships in this part of the universe. You'll never get a decent answer from anyone here about that matter. It would be infuriating to get killed by it, you'd need consumables to be able to "spot" it at all, it'd be easy to get in close for torpedo drops --> torpedoes always hits ---> subs get easy kills.
