A) We mentioned in our 2017 Preview that we will be adding new armaments to the game and at this moment, missiles is the top guess from our players. There may be some hints in the background, so take a look, but all I can say is that we are testing a few ideas for new weapons, but we don’t know which ones will make it in yet. We will have to see how they feel and how well they can be balanced before we make any more crazy announcements. Any ideas about these hints? With proofs of course! I really have no idea what kind of new weapon system they might implement. The choices are a bit limited: * Missiles * Depth charges Since we got HEAP with the new captain skills I think we can rule out any changes to the current shell system. Since there aren't any subs I think we can safely rule out depth charges. That leaves us one choice, and I am not entirely sure how they will implement it. [HABIT] Tungstonid Beta Tester 1,568 posts Report post #15 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Yeah, mines will probably lead to a more ... passive playstyle because no one wants to either go right into a minefield and explode or evade a minefield by either going all the way around or evading each mine while going right through which will lead to enemies being able to hit you more easily and/or harder. Depth charges are pointless except when they want to introduce Coop bot subs. Which of the current ships were able (if in reality or in theory doesn't matter) to carry and use rockets and what types of rockets are we speaking of?
