I want to grind to the Missouri, but im only at 140k Free XP so 610k still to go So im wondering how much Free XP you can get for how many Dabloons? For instanse, if i buy the biggest packet ( 90 something Euros one) would that give me the ship directly? (Im not saying i gonna do this, just wondering). And how big of a difference is it if i wait for one of those weekends when they have more value for conversion? And how often do they run those weekends? Thanks! CleverViking Players 503 posts 1,982 battles Report post #3 Posted January 21, 2017 It's a 25/1 conversion rate so the remaining 610k exp would come to a price of 24,4k doubloons (You'd also have to actually grind the exp on premiums/elite ships first, of course) During the events you get a 35/1 rate so it'd be about 17.4k doubloons for your 610k exp. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The other part of it would be the extra gold for larger purchases. Still the ship can be very satisfying. I for example have my damage cut in half or worse by getting worse RNG than people shooting at me. The Mo however can get at places where radar cruisers can get and use the RNG-proof radar to screw enemies even on days where most salvos are the worst possible RNG. Having the radar screw the enemies and these "functions" can be extremely satisfying, possibly the most satisfying thing in the game currently. TAP has a rumor on some upgrade that extends radar duration and if that rumor is true you will have some good times. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've also recalculated using the "discounted" gold I got from Christmas boxes or other sources. Therefore if I bought it, the effective Missouri price would be reduced from c.£85 down to about £52 or so. Thats still very expensive for a single premium ship, and its hard to ignore that you could use all of that 750k XP to unlock or upgrade half a dozen or so other Tier 9s. I think I'll hold off; perhaps until I've been to the pub, or had a bottle of wine with dinner - and feel like making an impulse purchase... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Special events like Christmas, WG's birthday, WOWS birthday and Gamescom. Also there are literally random points throughout the year where the discount is on. I had roughly 550k free XP before the Missouri got announced and grinded myself the remaining 200k free Xp just by plaing with Papa Papa flags on everything. Took me around 2 weeks to get the necessary free XP. And right now I'm again sitting at something close to 150k free XP (after I already blew some for the Chapayev B hull (36k iirc) since then, so you should be able to farm free XP rather swiftly; if you hunt those daily XP bonuses, 100k free XP on a good week isn't outlandish. I only take the flag containers every day just to get some more Papa papa´s and of course those 500 free xp bonuses. So i thought i buy some Doubloons and exchange to help a bit on the way. Something that is working for me right now is the upcoming ranked season where i will earn alot more Papa´s and also i will only play all my T7 premiums (Scharn, Leningrad, Blys and Belfast) with Papa´s mounted aswell. Personally I have around 80 K left. I exchanged 5000 doubloons a while ago in a 35:1 offer (I have done it a Little Before i Another offer), so I reason that is 5000 doubloons for Missouri. I gather free Xp at a reasonable pace as I hev lots of Papapapa signals so I Think I will stay with grinding the Xps, hopefully I can recieve Missouri in at least reasonable future. Money does not matter as I have over 200 Mkr Credits. She might be more useful if I in a few months when my Premiumaccount disappears plays a few months without premium. As other posts have stated 35:1 best offer so far. It is up to you, if you run on premium have good ships, how much you play, there is no right or wrong. Personally I did it because I could. I like named ships, it's essentially an Iowa with remixed AA and Radar. I wouldn't recommend paying for it, if you hit 750k naturally then consider it. I'm seeing more and more completely useless Missouri lurking in the corners of maps or giving full broadsides.
