Getting more 19 point captains means I have to play more unplayed ships? oww, You probably dont have enough Doubloons then, and yep, the only way to get Free captain Xp is when you get the 19th skill point. Then all the xp you earn on that captain turns into Free captain xp. So play the ships you enjoy and you captain will reach 19 points eventually 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For each captain point that you waste it will cost you 1 doubloon until the 30th of Jan, so if you have a 16 point Captain and you only used 14 on skills and have 2 undistributed, you will have to pay 14 to Redistribute. Choose the new ship and select the captain from the old one 2. When asked about retraining, choose 3rd option i.e. the free one 3. Go to your captain profile and via the + button (left of XP progress bar) use elite XP to retrain for the new ship For all those who wonder, elite commander XP is universal. As long as you have one captain with 19 points in order to generate the XP, you never again need to grind new captains no matter the ship, nation... How to redistribute points: 1. Go to commander skills 2. Besides "Redistribute" option there is now the arrow 3. Press arrow to choose between doubloon retraining and elite XP retraining As you can see its quite expensive to drop skills for 19pts captain - 190k so choose wisely 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

"so what now my love"? hate rpf and am paralyzed on the skillchoice for those. so its only a bunch of cc's and bb's for me now. and cv's lol, finally. Yes, I know, I have 350-400ish doubloons which should be enough to redistribute captains with a few points, but even with that I can't. And after the patch you still could click the redistribute button and get a notiication that you need doubloons and how many of them for the captain, but not the button it's grey and it just doesn't work.
