PSA: 0.6.0 patch bug - DO NOT leave captains in premium ships tonight

It appears that some captains have been retrained to the ship they were in at the patch time for example, if you have your Moskva captain in your Kutuzov it may get retrained for the Kutuzov.

 

There isn't, at the time of posting, any other people complaining of the same problem so there is a chance the guy is mistaken but just in case I would strongly recommend that all of your captains get moved out of their premium ships into their proper home before the patch hits just in case this happens to us as well.

Time to sharpen my pitchforks again, because I have reserve captains sitting on premium ships that are training/trained to ships that already have a a captain and obviously I can't put two captains on a single ship ...

 

If this is going to be an issue, support is going to have a bit of work to do.

Might be worth taking them out of a ship altogether and leaving them in your reserve if you have space.

UPDATE Guys, retraining bug almost confirmed. We're running a few quick checks to be sure. If it is correct, we will find a way to fix it. Please wait for official announcement and don't rush any reatraining for now please!

Note that it apparently only happens to ships in retraining and not to captains that are fully trained but sitting in a premium.

 

Although I will be moving mine anway, just in case!

Hahaha, I actually saw that coming. I'm keeping an eye on this game while I'm at sea. Unable to play due to unstable sat connection. But I heard of the free retaining. So I tried to log in and in the course of 3 days I was able to move my

Commanders from my premiums. I knew something like this would happen

Soo I have the Midway unlocked for 2 months now, never considered buying it due to the obismal state of CVs. But now ill buy it, pull my Essex captain from holiday put him on Midway and hope to get a free retrain

Don't forget to start retraining or the retraining won't finish due to the patch.

I moved out all my captains from prem ships just to make sure.

I logged in today to unlock Donskoi and put chappy captain on her, and to put all my captains in the correct ships + sold a whole bunch of ships I don't play anyway ( like mid tier IJN except a few ) and dismissed all those useless zero - three point captains I had still in reserve. Ow and I bought a Clemson and a Langly for the clubbing sessions when I get tired of Imperator / Yubari. 

 

Didn't play a single game, don't feel like playing this game anymore at all.atm, it just makes me feel disgusted with how community feedback is handled. But low tier clubbing might change their mind so I will be playing tier 4 exclusively between now and the 22nd and if nothing seems to be changing by then, even with the amount of money and time and effort into actually learning how to play this game, I will uninstall and move on.

So let me see if I got this right. If I leave a capt who is in training for the ship he is in and I leave him in it, tomorrow he'll be trained for that ship, just saying as I moved one of my best brit captains into the Neptune tonight.

You need to start the retraining on the new ship, just select the free retraining option and when patch hit the retraining will instantly be finished.

Not so good to see this is a bug, just moved out my captains from my premium ships. Better safe than sorry. Hopefully they can get it fixed before the update goes live.

I've sat on a half trained Monty and Uladoi (however u spell it) captains for a week. Good for me
