Captains,

 

Please post all general feedback regarding Update 0.6.0 here.

This run of the Public Test will last from December 29th 17:30 CET until January 3rd 14:00 CET and is mostly focused on the reworked Commander skills. As we know this is a hot topic, we want to start testing in advance.

Would be nice to have a "remove all signals" button, so you don't to do that one signal at a time.

It is still 19th January, and ... additional missions related to ship Graf Spee are not working any more.  Why ? Is it due to new update?

"Till 19th January" means "till / within / including 19th January", or not ??  Great, I was looking to get at least Leander .... and now - nothing.

 

And new update ?  Just the 1st impression:

I dont have only 1-2 captains for each nation, I have several of them, as I have almost all ships till tier VIII, and I still like to play them all.

Now I'm forced to study & re-assign all captain skills for each captain, not the job for the following several days hopefully.

But as the opportunity to accomplish additional missions for Graf Spee does not exist any more, I would have enough time to "enjoy" new skill set-up.

 

( ... Could be WG more player-friendly next time ?? ... )

The MM algorithm is even worse. I played two games and stopped. In the last one, a "Paul" player admitted that he owned the game 2 days only although he was playing at T5. Clearly, the player has a premium account and bought his way there. I hope you realise that prioritising money-making and allowing players to advance this way is scr**ing up the game experience for everyone.

 

Also, what is wrong with the bots in this game? Are you experimenting with AI models or you don't have enough active players? I am a senior Data Scientist at a top-tech company and I can tell when the game engine is being tampered. Heard of A/B testing and focused groups? Perhaps you should open a UX researcher position at WG and leave the behavioural studies to experts rather than software engineers; you'll be surprised how much it would help.

the new combination of skills especially the Heap and the rpf on some ships is ridiculous. The only thing that matters in the tournament (on the weekend) is which clan can abuse this combination most.

I found a place in the map Shards where you can get grounded but not get free from it. Hope they fix it in the next patch ...

I thought that too, also guns turning a hell of a lot slower, did I miss the announcement somewhere that German BB's were being nerfed? German BB have always been hit and miss with spread of shells, now range is just a guess and I can't track guns on target at all while turning, Gneisenau seriously worse than it was.

Is the plan for this patch to search out any fun in game and remove it?

Catapult Fighter from battlesip fly 90sec

Catapult Fighter from cruiser fly 360sec

Both planes have same amount of hit points and same average damage per second.

The both consumable cost the same amount of credits.

Why we have this difference?

Why didnt, in this update, you lowered the time of the "cyclon" in random maps for at least 3 minute (even 4)?

 

Cyclon in a period of ONE minute in a random game - I assume every player would be happy with that.

 

That would be fun.

 

Maybe.

 

This way, you've made the game where you shoot at other ships for cca 5-15 minutes BUT in some games (where cyclon is), you will do not such thing for the full amount of 5 minutes.

 

Just... one... big.... pause... for no apparent reason at all.

 

What is wrong with you?

This is a general feedback that's not particular to the patch alone, but a certain ship-logic for the tier 8 Japanese cruiser Mogami. The stock turrets have a 180 degree turn time of 51.43 seconds which is extremely strict, having formerly played with the Myoko a reduction of this rotate time to 45-46 seconds makes more sense. It is still very strict for a cruiser and in line with stock items not being better than later upgrades but without the total gimping factor. It would also open up a new avenue for people to use the smaller guns if they want to hunt smaller ships and DDs in a somewhat better sense than now. Just an observation, and a suggestion.

there patches which they are doing are like ..WTF ..what happened to the ships they promised - the premium ones

why all so hush hush secrecy on what they will give .

can you add more rain like with heavy seas n storms , and the rain effects the drop lets should totally cover the screen like many other games do - which will give a more immersive effect to the players .

 

lightning in the back ground with sound would be an added advantage and more immersion , and also do you plan to add any dx-12 support
