So, how many of the 74 who voted to remove RPF have actually tried it on the PTS?

I voted no, because I wont vote yes, until I have tried it for a few weeks to see how it actually effects things. If after that it looks like it does have an unfair effect on DD's/gameplay, then I would have no hesitation in joining the growing voices to remove it, despite never playing DD's.

I voted yes and yes I tried it for myself on the PTS.. Both rounds.

If you where indeed true to what you stated about testing before deciding and not just putting down a troll vote because "74 people voted yes and they might not have tested it" you would have voted the only valid option... "don't know"

Now however you did the same as that you accuse the yes voters of, you decided without testing it

It's a 4 point 'situation awareness' skill that's very boring but incredibly powerful.

All ships will start using it eventually and after 6 months WG will make it standard on all captains or remove it completely.

Youtube videos clearly showing how this makes stealth DD play impossible were not enough?

I am astonished by the WG inertia in reacting to any feedback. ANY decision takes MONTHS. Nobody is responsible for anything.

If WoWS is going to become "World of Battleships" they should clearly state that, and just make other classes botting NPC.

I'm really quite shocked at how WG have ignored all the feedback from players and beta testers. As far as I can tell they haven't even tried to dispute the concerns, it's just ''it's out game and we know best.''

It's what is called as wall hack in other games:

Knowing/seeing precise direction of enemy even if you shouldn't be able to see him.

In those FPS games it allows player with it to be ready to instantly shoot at that enemy when he comes around corner.

It does same in this game by giving you reference where to aim guns to wait for enemy getting spotted before doing quick aim and pressing to mouse button.

Finally players don't need to install any MODS/AIM ASSISTS LooooooooooooooL

WG going to introduce the Internal AIM ASSIST :P

Now its time we all players ban WG?

Thanks for your info. As I understand its a kind of cheating game option which will be included in-game right?

I have tried it on the PTS. I was not hit by a single torpedo on any ship I used it on (and I am not joking)

Player with that skill will always know the direction of closest enemy.

No matter if no one is spotting that stealthy enemy or even if there's that Mt. Everest pretending to be island in between.

Capping in destroyer always included risk of losing good chunk of hitpoints when spotted, but enemy with that skill can even point guns to right direction before spotting making capping even more riskier.

And if you take it you have automatic advantage over enemy DD by being able to point guns to its direction before its even detected.

YES!!! :red_button:

^^ this.

*hands up*

Not that is IS EVEN NEEDED. The sole concept of a skill which negates concealment is meant as a crutch for bad players is not what the game needs and doesn't need testing.

In particular because WG doesn't even use feedback on the testing ffs. Asking if people tested it therefore is

Its time that I played enough games with DD, then I will be able to take this new challenge, but I played 744 battles :( Having less experience with DD hoping to do my best with my DD. I like this game still.

Imagine this scenario:

2 players/ships are left on the match, last minutes. One has RPF, the other decided to not choose it for some reason. Who has the advantage? Why he/she has the advantage over the other?

Is it wits?

Is it positioning?

Is it experience?

Map awareness?

Critical thinking?

Is it RPF?

....

btw, honestly, reading WG's excuses for having/implementing it is just ludicrous. As much as some of their policies like, you need/want to change your name in-game? 2,500 Doubloons. Blizzard, Bethesda, EPIC Games, even freaking EA let you change it for free. WG? WG like with Clans, you need to "pay the man" to have fun. Only for the limited and privileged Credit Card Club Pawns...

Cheers and personally i'll be waiting for the PvE content, PvP is game over 100%. On the other hand ofc. with RPF more CoD-like players will come to this, drooling on their keyboards, not understanding, angling or map awareness, teamplay etc. But, quantity brings money, not quality. Fck it.

[i love Mr. Freeman btw.. Viva la spiritual revolucion Russian friends]
