The_Great_SCH Players 374 posts 3,672 battles Report post #77 Posted January 17, 2017 Yea, I wouldn't use my NY camos over permanent camos so that rules out all premiums and things like the NCal, Gearing and Yamato where I purchased the perm camo. And that is before I unlocked the new 2nd perm camo with huge free XP gain for the Tirpitz- now it makes even less sense to put it on there. I use it on some of my keeper ships (Cleveland, Hosho, Montana), I did have it on the Fuso and Leander but got free perm camos for them and then I have it on a couple of my grind ships (Taiho, FdG and Ibuki). Most ships it doesn't make sense to put it on though even though I have a gazillion to use up e.g. Essex/NO have +100% XP to speed up the grind, Fiji only has 13pt captain so wouldn't use it until I get CE, Kiev already has horrible camo and I'm not making it worse... in fact I refuse to put it on any DD. Free exp can be used along with elite commander XP to retrain or add extra commander skill points. Those NY2017 camo's are suddenly worth something to me now. Would've preferred something else (I NEED FREE EXP FOR MISSOURI), but meh, nothing to cry over considering I got it for free. Was getting dangerously low (<100) on my Zulu flag count anyway.
