Fix chat report abuse please

Im pretty confident that its not like this and that the reports stack. I tested it myself already. Got into a division with a friend, we both spammed our chat reports at a third player we where on TS with and he was instantly banned.

 

Easy to verify, get in a a couple of 3 man divisions with mixed ship type ( so more chance to get in same match ) when in the game all disband and report the same player. See how long / how many reports it takes for him to get banned.

2 x 24hr chat bans in 3 days. I'm on a roll, seem to have irritated a fair few idiots in the game and they punished me by telling my mommy who put pepper in my mouth....well, they banned me from talking which in itself is great because it gives me 24 hours each time to think up new material. Not sure I've actually insulted that many people to warrant these bans lately, must have been a few snot nosed kids that got all uptight that I tried to advise them in battle, or maybe I killed someone who thought they were invincible.

Well, I received my very first chat ban today after playing since the beginning of CBT.  What I find weird is that I really didn't say anything salty all day long (honest!).  I did laugh at a couple of fools who, after seeing 3 enemies storm the middle of Two Brothers and die, immediately proceeded to do the same (with the same predictable results).  Maybe that might have gotten me a couple of reports but, as I wasn't insulting in anyway, I can't believe any others reported me.  Something else that was strange is that my karma didn't change at all.  Now, that got me thinking.  There was something else I did at the beginning of 7 games today (the 7 games immediately prior to me receiving a ban).  I wrote in chat:  "RIP WoWs....it was fun while it lasted."  And, if anyone asked what I meant, I said, "Tomorrow's patch."  I was disappointed, although not surprised, to find that most players didn't even realize there was a patch incoming let alone what it contained.  So, if pressured for further info, I simply added, "Addition of RPF "skill"."  No further elaboration was added from my end.

 

So, since my karma score didn't change, I'm now wondering if WG are passing out chat bans in order to censure certain content.  Feel free to join me under my tinfoil hat...it's plenty large enough.  ;)
