[CR33D] Runner357 Players 542 posts 18,076 battles Report post #27 Posted January 14, 2017 I'd go for the Blys. But beware that you will have to level that CPT from the very start and that you can't train other CPTs in your new Blys. I'd go for the Belfast or Sharn myself ;)
BCHood Players 268 posts Report post #28 Posted January 14, 2017 Blys is a better ship of the two, but I'd personally go for Leningrad instead.
MeTaLMooSe Players 688 posts 5,902 battles Report post #29 Posted January 14, 2017 Be aware that Bliz takes either dragon flags or play XP to unlock her potential. Indy is just another meh cruiser. I'm really not entirely sure how you can choose between the two? If you want a US crew trainer there's a ton of choices. If you want instant tier 7 destroyer gratification then Leningrad must surely be a consideration as a crew trainer/prem/ship?
anonym_jRNsHFlzpHCL Players 105 posts Report post #30 Posted January 14, 2017 I'm currently buying a tier 7 premium ship and I can't decide between Indianapolis and Błyskawica. I really like playing with Pensacola but I also like american destroyers... Which one do you think is better? Thanks for the help! Belfast . You get smoke from DD and radar from cruiser. Ok-ok, in current BB meta, Blyskawica is better choice i think. Btw, did i tell you how great Belfast is? No?
Ferry_25 Players 4,392 posts 12,107 battles Report post #31 Posted January 15, 2017 Congrats OP. I like Blys very much. My hatred for the USN cruiser line really started with Pepsi.... Oh My sincere appologies to the superb armour rating of the tin cans of Pepsi cola. I really disliked the NO and I loath my Baltiless. So my advice would have been: take the Krasny Krym over the Indianapolis any time!

I enjoy her mostly for the looks and sound of her guns though. I will give you that, the sound is phenominal. Interestingly enough I knew nothing of the real ship and started reading up on it. Very interesting that a game these days still teaches us new things. I won't sell her, she is kept for Posterity and rememberance.

I won't sell her, she is kept for Posterity and rememberance. You ought to try her out. The increased range and significantly better concealment make a massive difference comapred to the Pensacola. And the AP is filthy good, easily capable of citadeling other tier VII cruiser all the way out to maximum range or at angles that you wouldn't think possible if you're a bit closer. Coupled with RN CLs that like to sit in their smoke and the fact you get Radar in the Indianapolis means a lot of cheeky Devastating Strikes just waiting to happen.
