How is your progress with "The Hunt For Graf Spee" and "Santa's Christmas Convoy"?

While I was doing the citadel task with mixed results. A few here and there with Leander and some of my BBs.

Then when I went to do the daily on my T-22, I got 7 citadels. Huh...

 

I wouldn't bother with co-op unless you're really pressed for time.

 

Only two evenings left. And it's so much easier to do this mission in co-op then to fight real players with brains and used to use it

Just finished the last convoy mission yesterday and i am pretty happy about it that i made it without buying the AGS. 

 

Besides that: I bought the Tirpitz camo when it was still certain we will not get the convoy missions. Now i basically bought it for nothing. I was pretty sure i will get the Dubs, that's usually how it goes in every other game.

Will that happen or is it unliekly?

Tirp camo is great, I still play her nearly daily. But that's partly because of sentiment as a Bismarck is more in your face action.

 

Shino campaign is a bit of a pain too, the second stage with cruiser citadels/secondary disables drove me up the wall!

 

 

 

Well after I had around 30 I realized it would take forever so I cancelled that task and took others instead in the repeat fashion. The other modules steering gears, main arnament, Engines tasks on other stages are for some reason 5, 10 or 15 so I wonder if this is an error.

Finished Hon Service long ago for the Shinomone. On stage 2 I did 1, 6,7.

Have 1 task left in Science of victory and 16 in the Hon Service for the Extra good Award medal. i doubt as many are CV based that I will make them. But I have currently chosen witherer, 3 dreadnoughts and 3 fireproof as I may get them in the long run with normal play.

 

 

Many pins you can take with finishing top three and win+ the damage of German ships usw..

 

 

Santas and Graf I have all tasks finished. The last Three (3x500000) credits I took with a Yamma when I with 5000 hp rammed a Kurrywurst , that made my forth stage of Imbros battle as well and 1,550 Mkr credits.

I have "Tirpitz" but it is no that easy nowadays to have 500.000 credit game... ti is more an exception than rule IMHO... "Kutuzov" might be different (I don't have her)...

I have both Atago, Tirpitz and Kutuzov and i must say from my experience Kutuzov outshines all other ships in being MVP in games and grinding credits and XP. I did a few battles in my Tirp with credit camo and flags but it was the Kutuzov in the end that delivered. And since i got the camo i started to grind the last levels of Honorable campain to get the DD and many of the games i become MVP with huge margin even if im team up with alot of Tier 9 and 10.

 

Its just so versatile. You can take caps with youre smoke, you kill alot of DDs, you burn down and kill alor of T10 BBs and its a great ship to decap ships trying to cap with.

 

Highly recommend that you buy this. Usually had to plat max 5 games to get 3 over 500k credits. So 5 games for each level in Santa convoy missions!

I finished all "Santa's Christmas Convoy" missions except last two (i.e. cammo for "Graf Spee" and "Tirpitz")... I, unfortunately, simply didn't have time for those two... family obligations (the rest of missions I mostly finished from midnight till 02:00 AM)... I will try to get at least one of those remaining two today (hopefully and finally will have 1-2 hours free this afternoon)...

Yes. 100 secondary battery disables was a pretty insane requirement, they are hard to aim for and some higher tier BB are extremely resistant to their secondaries being knocked out. I had no real method of doing it, HE and AP both were as erratic as each other... Grinding eh?

I personally found the last 2 missions easier than some of the earlier ones, that is if you don't repeat tasks. 

 

Ofc I feel Missouri would crush the 500k credits earning every single game without much exertion!

Got myself all the T6 ships and camos. Not interested in the last two missions as the extra camo for the AGS gives exactly the same bonuses as the one it already comes with and I don't have a Tirpitz.

 

Did the whole thing in Co-op. So much for there not being time WG-EU.

 

I'm now busy trying to level up my sub Tier 13 captains who are fairly near to their next point before the patch moves the XP goalposts.

Pfff I finished the T paint today. bit worn out now. Glad I made it. The T paint is really functionally awesome. Though IMO not as beautiful as the original....

I got to the Tirpitz camouflage on 13th. Ever since I only picked up the rest of the tasks, first all those which gave flags, second those with consumables and in the end I was left with the "do X Base-XP" for credits. I think there was no task left yesterday or the day before. So basically I collected everything about two days before the end.

 

 

By the way: I consider my Tirpitz now a over sized Anshan with better turret traverse speed and doubled number of guns. But unfortunately: no option to launch torpedoes from detection

Same here It was a 9-10 hour grind (36 battles) to do the last 4 missions I guess no more Wows for a few days )

It is 15 minutes to midnight... finally managed to finish the "Santa's Convoy"... I really wanted that "Tirpitz" cammo for "Missouri" grinding (currently at 350.000 Free XP)...

I ended the last mission of Santa's Convoy.

 

So that's :

- a T6 premium that is quite enjoyable to play

- 13.2 million credits + 3 camos on the T6 I already had and kept

- a new camo for my Tirptiz

- plus all the rewards from tasks and the credits & XP won playing the game.

 

I earned enough to buy North Carolina, Gaede and Zao and still have a few million.

 

Now let's just hope that WG wil not break the game with 0.6.0 ...
