WG make me understand

Please. Does WG policy is only based on a game for new commers, or on the community? The tier 10's get constantly nerfed. Now it is dd's. Cant you leave it to the community to decide what need's to get nerfed? With all your adgusting you making the game sufer. If you will say that everething needs to be balanced, then whats the point in reaserching any tech tree if every ship soon will be the same? Japs had torps, now got nerfed. Today they dont have guns nor torps, and the new tech line is strange.... gun boats got better torps and torp ones got better guns. Russian dds got one thing they had range, nerfed. Now US dds got nerfed in detection. Soon we will have all stealth firing removed. Do you know that by making all ships balanced you remove any teamplay to counter or making new tactics? What is the idea? German line got changed after only 2 days making it not even worth playing in. It is not only the dds but all ships. By nerfing constantly, you can just go ahead and say, that all ships will have 1cm armor and max range of 1 km firing and then it will get balanced. Belive me if any other company will make a game with ships or tanks where they will leave the nerfing to actualy players, people will move there. This thing is so frustrating, that is beyond the words.

 

And I know that the ones that want a good rep with WG will start spamming here with words like what am i doing here or something like that but this topic is not for you.

The rest of it just sounds like sour grapes over your favourite ship being nerfed.

I dont have favourite ship or class, cos every class that i liked is in need of good jucy NERF. In start it was cv got nerfed, then it was dd, got nerfed, Now they will remove stealth firing from cruisers, what next bbs? So under that teory what ship do you think i will like to play?

And belive me I dont mind adgusting stuff but constantly nerfing everething is not an answer to make ordinary players to play better.

Considering 8 months ago they said that BBs survived too much, were too numerous and won too much, then they decided to release German BBs and stomp on pretty much all the other classes with RPF and the new idiotic fire prevention skill that will effectively reduce fires by 33%, and probably remove stealth fire, and that WG recently change the game URL title header to "a game about battleships" (google world of warships if you don't believe me) it's safe to say that his opinion is more and more factual.

 

It's simple marketing: battleships attract more new players because their big, massive, powerful [edited]compensators attractive ships.

You want to milk those players, and for that to happen, they need to stay. 

Since making them learn to play is beyond human possibility, considering the intellect of the average player in battle, nerfing the **** out of everything that presents even a slight challenge to a BB is the simpler option.

Ever since the start of closed beta the effectiveness of DDs have been nerfed and the abilities of the other classes have been relentlessly buffed.  Times were when you had situational awareness as a third row skill;  Now everyone gets it free.  Toprpedo ranges drastically cut; detection ranges increased; the detection ranges of torpedoes increased...  Then Hydro.  Then radar.  Now RDF.  All to protect BBs for who WASD is an inconvenience because they have so much to do and think about while firing twice a minute.

 

If they want us to stop playing DDs it would just be better they came out and said so.

IIRC there were studies about average WG player and considerable amount were 25yo+ employed people. So as you might expect, tired someone after work and daily chores want to chill out, often without involving too much brainpower. Thus pondering about patch notes, asking/googling about game mechanics or figuring out ship quirks is beyond their idea of "chilling".

It's reasonable to not ask people (like me) to play like unicums, constantly playing at 100%.

But come on, at one point there's a difference between chilling out with a beer playing casually, and doing what some of the average players do.

 

I don't think it's too much to ask of a grown adult, however tired from work he is, to at least glance at the minimap once per match and now launch his 4km range torpedoes at targets 17km away.

I've been playing WG games for the past 7 years, and the average players on this game are by far the worst in terms of critical reasoning and spatial awarness, from my point of view.

It's the old(ish) players that have the gelt to buy stuff and keep the game going, so by your criteria we have to be broke and jobless to be good? Hahaha.

Strange that me and almost all the other players in my clan are:

- Usually not too bad players

- Have a full-time job, that sometimes takes a lot of time and energy (think IT manager in a reputable company)

- Some even have children

- We are all paying customers (sometimes even paying a tad too much aka buy every premium ship)

 

Therefore, 'thinking'/'understanding game mechanism' does not seem to correlate with being jobless and broke...

All players should want to play good whatever the level of tier. Of course more may make mistakes at lower tiers but if you're happy to accept people not wishing to get better at lower tiers then you shouldn't complain or expect any better when they get to the higher tiers. :honoring:

What i wanted to say is that who play's this game we or WG? If they care they would have made some mechanism of asking at least Top Players for advice but hey. WG are all pros. They know how it should be and how people play. WG like Google today. They know everething and they know better..... NOT!!!!

All the ships in that list are mid tier. Why then they nerfing tier 10's? The tier 10's are in normal % but they still have itchy fingers for them.

Why me? Do you read? I say ask Top Players. But even top players or streamers had apologised to people cos they sailed one ship, an as soon as it came out WG nerfed it 2 days after ..... that is proffetionals in work.....

You misunderstood.  Go back and read what I was replying to.

 

 

Seems he was talking about people not wishing to get gud to which you replied that would be fine at lower tiers. Why shouldn't we have good players and balance at all tiers?
