The only thing you can be sure having ALMOST NO INFLUENCE is the single player's performance over the present battle outcome as everybody can learn playing.

Instead I would like to know how you could be so sure about what you said.

Have you the access to server and MM settings? Or maybe are you simply making reference about what WG usually sells to the players? :hmm:

I will be only too happy to continue to discuss this with you if you are happy to leave confirmation bias at the door and remove your tinfoil hat. I suspect this is going to be one of those occasions that we will not see eye to eye.

You would know very well if the server MM was using any kind of skill influencing software. Trust me, having played games that used it you do not want it here.

Mine are generally still average and not changed much since CBT, however been playing higher tiers recently which I am not used to so being quite cautious which are affecting mine slightly.

Plus I dont play everyday day and a lot of battles.

it's just what I said...

But it's (let's say) "highly probable" that it remembers your session's outcomes. If not, would be very hard to explain what every player CAN SEE everyday and that is ABSOULTELY OUT of any statistical rule.

Seems to me that the MM works with the ships that are in queue rather than skill.  Otherwise you wouldn't have as many matches were each side had the same class of ship or there would at least a lot more matches were sides were unbalanced.

Woah there, Sparky McConspiration.

It's up to you to prove that any of that drivel you put forward has any hint of truth to it. What is ascertained without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Also not "every player" can see whatever it is that you think you're seeing and leave statistics out of this unless you are really sure that you know what you're talking about.

Individual players can and will have an impact on matches. I can't even believe that your argument against that is "everyone can learn to play" - everyone can learn to write, not everyone will be Hemingway, everyone can learn to kick a ball, not everyone will be Maradona etc.

Stop presenting crackpot opinions as factual truth.

OUCH  just took a look at my stats.

Seems the mad rush to T8 so I could complete the ARP missions hurt me bad (I only had T6 before that so I had to rush a few lines).

On the plus side now I'm back to playing the ships I like (and not rushing through tiers) my stats are on the up.

Too many people take too much notice of their statistics in these games, just play to the best of your abilities, have the most fun you can and relax...... statistics, damn statistics......

“Whenever I read statistical reports, I try to imagine my unfortunate contemporary, the Average Person, who, according to these reports, has 0.66 children, 0.032 cars, and 0.046 TVs.”

A picture says so much more then words...

Anyway, statistics are like the truth, there my truth, the other guys truth, and something in the middle :hiding: It's all about reference points and interpretations.

Statistics are actually quite good when understood properly and used by people who know what they are talking about. What statistics cannot do (and why both examples presented fail) is tell you a story about an individual.

Quantitative vs qualitative and all that.

I am of the opinion that people should pay more attention to their own statistics and performance. Maybe that way some guy with a 48% WR wouldn't blame his team mates for losing him the game and then rage in chat...

You guys are right. I've stopped enjoying it and started looking at the stats page after every game (I know, I know...) Maybe i'll perform better being a little calmer and relaxed. I'll give it a try haha.

Look at it every day, or even better every week :)

Don't check your stats more than once a day

Otherwise you will go completely cray

Just do a short self analysis

That's how you learn what progress is

You know there is a statistics mod which will track your current game session ( wr avg dmg, no wtr or such ratings which imo are also not that important ) :coin:

That way you don't have to check a website after every game

I usually don't even look at it unless I'm feeling I'm having a terrible session or a really really good one.
