[Update] Santas Wanted! Why not [Update] Christmas Convoys!

Sorry about my criticism?

Santa wanted even has been extended till 19th of January. 

But I am asking why WG hasn't extend the Christmas Convoys?

There are many players don't have enough time during the working days even weekends. 

Christmas convoys can be extended till end of January!

Because the obvious intent of the xmas convoys was to get people to spend actual money on the graf spee so they'd have enough time to do the missions instead of just getting it for free like all the rest of us are doing?

why should they? the convoys were never intended to be easy to fully complete for everyone... You had a choice to either buy the Spee and have a leisurely stroll through the Convoys, or get the Spee for free and have a tight window for the convoys. Choice was yours, and it was clear as such from the get go. You made the choice to not buy the Spee (I would guess...), so here are your consequences....

Actually I bought Spee to make the convoys easy and faster. But I am here to argue with WG for other players!

Also, it seems Santas are not really wanted.

 

I tried buying a couple of the cheapest boxes, payment glitched and got stuck in that pop up box. This time did not even get that "unavailable" page....

What tier of game are you at? 

(highest tier)? 

 

Do you use Ocean Soul/Type 6 camo, or premium ships? 

These camo's give +100% XP.  

At tier 6, Ruiyo (non-premium CV), including the camo, and the +50% first win bonus, I can get 4-5k XP for the first game. 

Mostly, use high tier ships with the camo, such as tier 8 cruisers,..

I'll target the Farragut reward if I get time. If I wanted to I think I could play all weekend to get everything. But I don't want to

If you wanted to have a lot of time to complete the missions you should have bought GS. But even without buying it there's enough time to grind the missions if you play a lot and even if you don't you'll still get free stuff from the missions that you do complete.

Well I just got the Tirpitz camo unlocked, taken me 3 days and that's me doing 3 missions a day doing only the 500k in a single battle with the Missouri, I now have till the end of the event go back and mop up the remaining 20 something tasks I have left to do its been far easier than I expected.

No you are not you are here to B#tch and nothing else.

The Convoy missions are Difficult. Yes they are(well quite easy if you have prem time and some high tier ships).. the Rewards are great. Lets look what WG have given use over Xmas.

Graff Spee tier 6 CA. worth 20€ Easy Mission. and as a extra a harder mission  where you get a further 7 Prem camos with retail value of over 30€. you expect them to give us an easly acheavable 50€+ worth of content

i didn't buy Graf Spee and I unlock Budyonny alredy so - you have the time, just use +xp camo and flags and chose that mission in campain it will give you 5 of 6 pins you need fast

I work 7 days per week, play approx 4 hours per night and am on target to at least hit the Fuso (which I will sell for credits). I might get the Bayern too since the missions are not that difficult.

It's a competition not a giveaway.

Meet the criteria, compete and win prizes. Simples.

If you can't because of 'reasons' then that's tough but life.

I've completed both and am grateful for the fantastic prizes and the fact the EU playerbase won us the competition.(and my current situation).

I'm getting kind of fed up with the precious snowflakes that want it handed to them on a plate. Reflects the sponging benefit nation of UK really.

Compete or do your best, admit you can't because of real life but don't ask for more. That's just pathetic.

 

 

Sorry OP if you thought I'd deliberately targeted you. I haven't. There's just so many whining, want everything for free, not my fault threads that I had to vent spleen. Nothing personal.

 

 

And TLDR: Earn it fair and square and the rewards are sweet. Get it for free? Worthless...............

I was going to post a dumb question: 'Where are these Santa's Christmas Convoy missions?' because I did not seem to be able to see any of them anywhere in my game client...

 

...but then I took an arrow in the knee....

 

Seriously though, it just only today occurred to me that the campaign window actually scrolls horizontally...

i have faragut before in port and been given slot, camo and about 4mil credit ;)  i have Budy and Bayern also in port

I had all ships but Leander (great little ship) and Fuso of which I'd sold previously but was happy to see back in my port. Great moneymaker and bought me FDG and Amagi.

And the cherry on the tree is I get all the ships silver value again as I'd bought the AGS supreme bundle before the 'Hunt the Graf Spee' or Santa's convoy missions.

Kinda sad I'm back to the normal missions again but this is awesome compared to WoT.

And that was the whole point of getting the ship in the 1st place. and after the games iv played to get through the convoy mission iv found you still need to play well to be hitting 500k consistently.
