I understand its cold in this time of year, but there are other ways how to warm yourselves up other than gallons of alcohol

What comes next ? Ram someone and survive the game ?????

In almost 4000 games I have rammed maybe three or four times. Once I survived.

For me ramming is a 'do or die' thing. I am in a no-win situation, I am going to be deleted whatever happens, and there is a slight possibility I can take one of them with me.

For this to work at all you are going to need to find a player willing to be caught for the ramming, or one who is also looking to ram someone for at least one point of damage. Both seem highly unlikely.

I'll just copy/paste

OK, now you are seriously messing with us.

Are you seriously trying your hardest to drop the gameplay in your own game as low as you can? Instead of incouraging players to finally learn how to play, and to do it properly, by promoting teamplay, and playing for the objectives, you are giving us this beyond retarded missions as chase a CV in DD, and ram someone??

Its too hard to make "cap 2 points" "earn defend ribbons 10 times", "tank 2milion damage in your BB" missions? Its better to ram someone

honestly, whoever makes this mission, I would gladly send him to work in the rival company, so he can ruin their product.

Whoever creates these missions shouldn't get paid until they do them themselves..

I'm pretty sure i rammed 3-4 times just last week. If you dont mind dying your sacrifice can give your team massive advantage. I aim at bb thats reversing while shooting at other broadsided bbs or cruisers. Other advantage is that your team may push with you, youll tank damage while other support you. I think thats much more satisfying than shooting from 15km. Downside is i often die alone with my teammates 15km behind. still i'm making top part of scoreboard.

These missions just get more ridiculous each week.

It wouldn't be so terrible if the rewards were actually worthwhile but they're really not. I thought that was what they were getting away from Boot Camp for?

Hit at last 1 enemy ship with your airplane that has been shot down, As in the animation of the plane crashing, has to crash into a ship.

I've had it once in the Saipan since the award got nerfed (made harder). For non CVs you're only getting it if the CV is an utter brain dead moron as it involves them throwing everything at you and falling.

Saw the mission and chuckled.

That together with 50k flooding damage in one of the previous stages means I won't bother. Again.

I am a terribad torpedoboat player. Gunboats are somewhat okay. It is much more likely that I ram an enemy rather than ever hitting a DD-launched torpedo at T6 or higher, let alone cause enough flooding if I manage to hit (the Russian 4 km torps are meant for nuking, not dealing dmg over time).

50k is easier than 20k in one battle. Still stupid, all these missions that rely on the enemy messing up or doing something dumb.

Part 4.  Not only do you have to ram something, you need to come top of your team as well.  For people complaining at the CV missions... it can always get worse.

That part actually isn't too hard. According to the description, you don't have to win the battle, so just ram something with full health when you're on a potato team, shoot at some other ships on the way there and that alone should put you into contention for first place.

I'm not going to bother with 50k flooding damage, though.

it's not like there were any even remotely worthwhile rewards in it, so why should I care?...

Now, does that make it more or less of an epic fail by WG?

Encouraging people to ram...yes I predict this will improve the gameplay tremendously. As they have to be top on xp as well they likely won't do both on the first or second try either.

Ramming as last resort, when you're going down anyway... sure.

That has happened to me maybe 5 times or something in my 4k games, not really sure.

Making it a mission -> WG promoting bad play :sceptic::sceptic::sceptic::sceptic::sceptic:

I would really like to post an image related to Vodka, a Russian tank commander from GuP and WG, but I won't.

This reminds me of the old intro to mediocre Jingles videos, there is a clip of a CV ramming a DD... (Jingles was probably in the DD )

Ramming is rather popular at higher tiers it seems.

At the moment theres not a huge inventive NOT to ram, since your repair bills are the same regardless.

-About to die anyway? Why not ram

-About to lose anyway with no chance of turning it around? Why not ram

-Enemy team only got 1 player left with ypur team having more? Why not ram and just end the game

-Going to win anyway with no chance of enemy turning it around? Why not ram

The silly part is that it frequently puts you near the top of the table when you clearly dont deserve it.

I had a game with the izumo where I did 40k damage, which is rubbish. I'd picked a cap to support that turned out to have no enemy so spent the entire game trying to close the distance. Right at the end found a full health enemy NC that had done essentially nothing. I aimed at ramming him, he clearly liked the idea and aimed at me. Boom! Suddenly im on 106k and rocketted to near the top of the scoreboard. Similarly he finished highly (from doing 80k) despite the fact that his only involvement was crashing into me.

Well this is stupid. Could you please tell me what devilish strong alcohol you were drinking when you came up with this? I'd like to try that too :)

What's going on in that office of yours? A contest who can come up with the most retarded mission requirements? A contest who can come up with a mission that destroys gameplay the most? The sheer amount of idiocy in your office is amazing. I't almost an achievement to keep coming up with these moronic missions

And this is coming from the same guys that thought the Santa's Convoy was too difficult for us....

Well aren't you spoiling us
