Any chance of a nerf on this bismarck secondaries?

every one talking about the bismarck and the Hydro and so on there are  other crap that are wors than hat.... 

 

so they nerf the bismarck with Hydro and the große und the Kürfurst dont geht nerv LOOOOL that so **** .... that means that even more BBS camp in the back as they allrealy do... its getting boring... atleast one ship is able to push to a dd and nock him out since there are wayyyyyy to many dds in this game.

That's why half the German BB I encounter still camp and don't push  They still have hydro, just not the extra range one. Should still give them enough torpedo warning, they'll be less good in charging down smokes, but is that really the job of a BB?

lets just say in the battles (tier 7+) i play, there´s approximately 80-90% german BBs. you draw your own conclusion on that fact.

all i see is tirpitz, bismark, friedrich, scharny. i´m "guilty" of this as well. they´re absolutely awesome ships and i see no reason to play nagato, amagi, colorado etc.

dont even remember when i last played one of those.

german BBs have one weakness, dispersion. i actually like that design choice. forces you to go knife fighting, which is incredibly fun.

Not 'I will kemp in back now and cry because my hydro is nerved a bit' but ---> 'I will still push up and brawl because I HAVE hydro unlike all those other BB's, while my rudder and turning circle are also superb unlike my top tier brethren. And I will have to push up and not be useless in the back, because my dispersion doesn't allow that'. 

 

That being said, the amount of citadels I ate this week from 15km+ Bismarcks is starting to really ffin annoy me. Either WG is giving everyone which shoots at me awesome RNG or I must be the most unlucky target for them to aim at.

50% of damage coming from an AI assistant (looking at the match summary above) does seem pretty dirty but they would have to tread softly if they decide to nerf the secondaries. At least they reward you for playing the ships correctly, push in close. Unlike the hydro which is really not needed as it is super easy to dodge torps in the bismarck with vigilance + target acquisition (not to mention the plane). I like how those things require you to make sacrifices in order to be immune to one weakness. Instead of a button that makes you win without needing to spec heavily into it.

They are just QQ'ing because they like their hydro and don't want their toys changed to fit actual ingame balance.

What baffles me to start with how agile BB like Bismarck got Sonar to start with. I can kinda understand for tier 9 and 10 as those are hell of a bricks (though they should have "normal" Sonar, not German one). But then Iowa/Montana aren't exactly nimble either and live on without Sonar

Iowa isn't exactly fun to play imo. A lot of high tier ships have some form of defense against DDs such as hydro or radar. Iowa has nothing.Overall, I would argue that DDs are OP in terms of their capability to sink capital ships in this game, at least when it comes to high tier BBs, and any such engagement should end badly for the DD. Imho nerfing Bismarck's or any other BB's defensive capabilities is a step in the wrong direction although, when it comes to German BB's, they at least have their secondaries to rely on.

 

Admittedly, this is how it should be if the game were to reflect reality, as for game balance issues, that could be another matter.

I would love to see WG balancing the Bismarck by giving her AA of the Tirpitz. Now it is AA is still really good if you choose 2ndaries build. This way it would be kind a trade off between AA or 2ndaries (manual AA or manual sec).

Hint hint, Bismarck can't hurt you if you're outside of its 10.6 (Max) sec range. (But it can still shoot you with its main guns, yes I felt like I needed to point this out).

Secondariness are the only thing that makes it viable against NC/Amagi big bang boats...

 

The Bismark is the only battleship out of the 3 that can successfully hunt DDs as well as CAs...
