Kamikaze 'green' and Smith in shop

Kami is good value, get it and feel the power.

 

Not sure if I'd get a Smith, passed the opportunity during GNB. I've got the Banana, a German DD and a Cambeltown for my low tier thrills.

Kami is similar to the old Minekaze.

 

Minekaze WR was 51.65%, kills per game = 0.9. A good ship! Put a good points captain in her and you can raise that WR to 57% as indicated on WoWs Stats with Fujin and Kami premiums.

 

Yes there are another 50 non premium ships that score the same or better than the Minekaze, but it was a good ship before the IJN line change and the kami is very close to her (just the Kami speed, rudder and AA being a little less effective).

I've been waiting for this for a while. I didn't want the Fujin, because I dislike the very un-ocean-ly camo (warm helloween colors) and I didn't get the Kamikaze during the event because I couldn't play at that time. Was scared that it was gone forever after the rework of the IJN line but oh wonder, WG EU gave us the same as WG NA, I'm very pleased.

Well now i have 3 of them ,-)) Still dont really find it aceptable to sell even more of her when Techtree one is nerfed to the groud They might as well allow a direct Research from T4 to T6 if they continue to sell Kamikazes.

Really dont make sense to nerf a techtree ship because its op then selling same ship for Money. Sorry in this case clearly P2W

Where it failed miserably was bringing attention to itself by being a good ship that could do well. A DD killing bigger ships, nerf it! Lol Strange that the other 49 ships aren't considered OP. Must be a DD thing.

I have both of them in port allready, and tbh, i have "around" 0 battles in Smith

Not sure if I ever took him out for a spin (Tachibana included ^^)

I bought both, the Smith mainly as a captain trainer. I can use the Sims for that purpose too, but I think CE makes a larger impact on tier 7, so I mainly use my 15 point captains on the Sims.

have the kamikaze r so wont buy another but by god that's a nice ship

smith I got from a event wg did but that ship is awful only played a couple games in it but the normal tier 2 dd makes a way way way better trainer so I would advise getting the smith only if you collect ships

if your going to pick a ship for fun and training take the kamikaze

DD are harder to play than other classes, even the mighty Gremy doesn't have good stats. I'd imagine yolo children bring down the average WR. Good for the skillful as it's easy to pretend a ship isn't OP.

Pretty much the same the other way around. Bismarck is easy as hell to play, so potatoes have fun in it, so more potatoes play it (which has the same effect).

I have both Fujin and Kamikaze R so see no reason to buy the Kamikaze. Already have 15 point captains on both Shima and Akizuki.

 

Had the Smith sinch GNB too lol.

Smith is meh, kamikaze probably as good as my Kamikaze R, but since I have the R I don't need the green, My next mission is to get the Missouri in port, still 270k'ish off but creeping.

Well... I own Kamikaze R (and i think the blue camo is the best one already)... i never bought the fujin when she came up the first time and i got Kami R from project R and I'm quite happy with it. I will at least not invest into a copy from her.

 

But anyone that wanna know something about this ship: For the price it is totally worth it. If you don't own it yet i would recommend buying it. It's not a high price either...

i havt playeed it much either but you should play it atleast couple of times its "torp guns" are fun;-)
