[BUSHI] CuddlyPanda Players 352 posts 3,883 battles Report post #2 Posted January 2, 2017 I have seen less stuttering at the ECSF. Not to mention the interface is laggy when trying to do anything with the crates.
mtm78 Alpha Tester 19,378 posts 6,105 battles Report post #3 Posted January 2, 2017 Use Ocean, problem solved! What is worse btw is that with the game open sometimes if I have to many twitch channels open as well they really stutter a lot Ow, and WG promised a better ingame chat implementation when they added 'clan functionality' and they said that would come this year no? Looking forward to that for sure
waxx25 Players 1,296 posts 11,488 battles Report post #4 Posted January 2, 2017 open contact.....freeze.....select a ship it freezes or breaks the selection. Switch to a different ship and it goes to same ship into module view,.......just retarded.

[BONI] MoveZig Players 1,622 posts 20,823 battles Report post #10 Posted January 2, 2017 It was choppy for me since day 1. I've gotten used to the stutters when clicking on things, important thing is that it doesn't happen in combat, and it doesn't.

P2Win Beta Tester 808 posts 8,067 battles Report post #13 Posted January 2, 2017 Even with the Samsung pro 950 m.2 it lags. I don't think it's an actual loading issue, just the crappy engine.
[-EXS-] Hades_warrior Players 5,381 posts 6,643 battles Report post #14 Posted January 2, 2017 Yea, this lagging issue is very common problem. It annoys me to enter the game and see the lag spikes. The same crap and after battles. Its an irony for us who owns a PC's strong to push any newest game on stable 60+ fps to have problems in game like this. IceyJones Beta Tester 1,286 posts Report post #17 Posted January 2, 2017 the longer the friends and/or blacklist, the worse the port lag is....... specially opening the chat-list takes ages (up to 20 seconds) just annoying

SSD do have in fact faster random access times, read latency times, and data transfer rates. In total, you get several ms faster loading of large files. It's not even in the large files transfer, wows caches all small assets and it's the HUGE IOPS advantage ssd's have over conventional hdd's which makes the difference. IceyJones Beta Tester 1,286 posts Report post #24 Posted January 2, 2017 rofl...is here really a guy negating the effect of a SSD? i use conventional HD only as data-grave and even these in a mirror raid system for better access and read performance. i would never again use this as my main hard drive again. SSDs are superior in EVERY point, except price
[XTREM] walter3kurtz Players 1,037 posts 10,820 battles Report post #25 Posted January 2, 2017 I don't have any problems in port, on a relatively old machine (W3570 overclocked, 6GB nothing fancy RAM, Samsung 830, GTX670). One thing I know though, WoWs can stutter immensely when you have Twitch open. It might be a RAM issue, seeing as how Twitch can hog memory and WoWs had a memory leak (that was supposed to be fixed IIRC). I never checked for RAM usage when this happens though, will look next time.
