[GRKEN] jerkchicken Players 121 posts 10,417 battles Report post #1 Posted December 25, 2016 Today: 14 battles played 3 wins / 11 loses I think I'am done with this game, i always play good (i do my best for myself + the team), i cap everytime I'am supporting dd's and i follow orders from the chat. But those weekends my WR(winrate) is just falling by my team. or i have an unlucky day. No I would be unlucky everythime I play. It feels like i depends on my team, So there saying my skills of the match doesnt count if I've bad matchmaking (unlucky). I'am just working on the Missouri (getting xp with premuim account + premuims ships / camo's + flags = that i can convert it to free ex) but if i dont win like 50% (I would be happy alot if the WR was 50%) So this grind is very hard for me if I would lose everytime. Have somebody some tips to improve or to make my grind easier? Thanks for reading and helping me out, Splireplays (I'am working on my English its not very good)

My advice ... quit after few defeats (before you get angry) and just try to spend some "quality" time with your wife/gf.

With the holiday season, influx of new DDs and the campaign missions there's a lot of upheaval in the game at present. Not great news for those that want to play and find everything going terribly wrong, but I would say wait a week or so and the seas will become calmer. Maybe try the campaigns and hopefully alongside playing the team games you might find you accomplish the missions even if you don't win the particular game.

(No, I'm not insulting you, I'm actually just asking you to learn the game). I'm learning all the time and hopefully improving, but I know I'm as much at fault as everyone else when we lose. You win as a team, learn to accept the team lost and stop blaming everyone else.

I know what your trying to tell me, but i know the game exactly. I want always to learn and improve my skills offcourse! But my damage is good (not if i have a bad match but everyone have that) Im not a beginner i know to aim perfectly and how to manoeuvre smart. But I'am certainly not an experienced player that had overall 2000matches played But i got your point what you mean

Except those threads tend to never get started. Remember, for every team that suffers a loss, another team celebrates a victory. Its is all down to chance which of those teams you get placed into. Thanks for reading and helping me out, Splireplays (I'am working on my English its not very good) What I do nowadays is this: when I lose a battle I always change a ship I stop playing one ship for that day if I am -2 games with her altogether (i.e. 2 more loses than wins) I stop playing "Ranked" / "Random" for that day entirely if I am -4 games with all my ships combined (i.e. 4 more loses than wins) Leo "Apollo11"
[HORN] Wolfenbane Players 374 posts Report post #17 Posted December 25, 2016 Treat kills as personal victories and look at a battle victory as the icing on the cake. Most importantly though just have fun playing, simple as that.To hell with the end result, set your own in game rules. [CMP] Hummus Weekend Tester 605 posts 5,346 battles Report post #19 Posted December 25, 2016 I know the feels ..... I got a 12 game loosing streak a few weeks ago, and it was terrible. I wasn't even playing bad, but the teams just didn't do anything. In those cases you have two options: Sit it out and just keep playing while trying to not get frustrated. Stop playing and go do something else. I kept on playing and finally carried my team enough on the 13th game ( I did 140k dmg in my Isokase... and we barely won the game with that )

You have no PvP game in Nassau, Kaiser, König, Bayern and started with Gneisenau, Bismarck. You have not much PvP experience in DDs and jumped into an Tier VIII DD.
Ferry_25 Players 4,392 posts 12,107 battles Report post #21 Posted December 25, 2016 Oh here we go again. OP: losing streaks is part of the deal. They happen. period. It's just a matter of bad luck. I know how you feel: I (and I'm 100% sure: everybody's) had them too. It's not like you've turned into a noob overnight. It's just "one of those days." Nothing seems to be working, the reds always seems to know exactly where you are, your paint has turned into napalm, your citadel magnet is functioning at optimal capacity, your gunners are drunk (you'll be AMAZED to hit the water), you seem to be the preferred "first blood" supplier in the game and the reds seem to be able to jump over your torpedo's. Like previously mentioned: in my case it helps to switch shiptypes or take a break. and what I always do: rip off the signals and prem consumables in such a streak: they're wasted otherwise. In short: losing streaks happen. Period. Don't get upset by them.

I've come back to this game with the arrival of the royal Navy tech Tree to find I'm better than I was by a couple of % WR and by a fair few hundred average XP. I can't answer this that clearly at the moment as a result. I do know I always feel more in control in a destroyer or a ship like a destroyer which would be a RN CL.
MeTaLMooSe Players 688 posts 5,902 battles Report post #24 Posted December 25, 2016 (edited) Never Ever think your recent win rate is a reflection on your game playing experience. (unless your senses are temporarily stunted due to chemical reaction.............) Play your game and if your own personal stats are improving or static then don't worry. It's a team game played by utterly unknown individuals on your team. Weird hey? When was the last time you played a team sport and didn't know a single sausage soul? For the record individual higher than average statistical values will see your WR improve. Take that disgusting bout of games like a sprout. Smother it in all thinks good like gravy and bread sauce and pepper and other delicious stuff. Swallow it and despite the addition of all things tasty and righteous you still know that sprout is there. Fear not. Upon your next mornings bowel movement you'll not notice that 'sprout'. Such is the way of online gaming................ Edited December 25, 2016 by MeTaLMooSe
AmazingBeaver Beta Tester 435 posts 5,528 battles Report post #25 Posted December 25, 2016 Games were quite silly today. AFKers, late loaders or bots in every match...aaand those plebs at tier 10 without camo, no idea what ammo to use, where to shoot or where to even go, so they choose to run away immediately, aaand those occasional ragesantas leaving the match or torping friendlies if someone dares to give them tactical advice. What else, ooh! debilcenter gamemode with cyclones in 3 matches in row, people get killed by forts, gunboats loosing against torpboats in gunfights, general clusterf**k of a gameplay and disgustingly toxic chat griefing, poor peasants flaming and bitching at anyone with premium ship because it's obviously P2W and #premium_players fault they do badly in games. Gotta love onlinegaming during the holidays.
