Secret santa- completely broken?

Made the big mistake of buying quite a few boxes but only - and I mean ONLY - got camos out of it. Is the system completely broken or what? I've sent a support ticket but in the meantime, I'll stop spending money on them.

I took a random selection of €1/€3/€5 presents.

I noticed that the €3 ones gave me the most Premium Ships.

The €5 ones gave me a lot of Dragon Flags.

Depends on how much you spend.

 

I spend 45 € on various Packages and got:

 

• Marblehead (Ughh)
• Arizona (Yeah!)
• a buttload of Camos and Flags which are useful, but not something I like to spend money on

 

I had hoped for the Gremy, but the chances to get her are quite low unless you already own most of the premium ships or you buy enough crates to get them all.

All camos for me what i bought myself. Sended some gifts and they were fine, flags and prem ships.

 

Quite happy for the camos, but strange that no variation.

Just had an Admiral's box that contained just six (6) consumables. Thats 90 doubloons' worth at in-game prices, and clearly nowhere near the purchase price of the box - which WG advertises as the minimum return.

 

I do get the feeling that we are now into the rip-off phase of a marketing operation...

I've bought 5 admirals on the 1st day: dragon flags and 2 Sims.. Today another 5: only cammo's. I am not complaining. But it seems the ships are no longer in stock. Better luck nxt time. Would love to get Grammy 1 day. But untill then: Dobarich Lenin will do just fine as cpt trainer and awesome ship.

Yesterday, I bought a few as well, after hearing they included Gremy.

I didn't buy that one during closed Beta, thinking it'd be on sale sometime in the future anyway and because I wanted to see how the game developed.

Was disappointed when it became clear she wouldn't be on sale again.

Got most premiums that I did not have early on, getting the € 3,- boxes.

Yo Lang, Ishisucki, Operator.

Yo Lang was okay, but the other two.. I would consider selling them, as they were just paper designs and so far I've avoided most of those.

Then a lot of other stuff, including some doubloons.

Got a few of the € 1,- got more assorted stuff, a few more of the € 3,- but still no luck.

Almost gave up.

Bought a few more of the € 5,- boxes, in the very last one, I got the Gremy.

Worth it.

All in all, I spent less than I would have spent on Graf Spee and doubloons if they hadn't shafted us with the convoy missions.

Bought a few more for others, but they had no luck, only camouflages..

So, yeah, it is totally random, although maybe there is some truth in more ships dropping when you already have a lot of premiums, or maybe it was just my luck.

And, yes, it is gambling, so don't throw your money away if you can't afford it.

All in all, it was a good deal, considering what these premiums go for normally, even most of them weren't particularly desirable for me.

Had the gremy since closed beta, not gonna lie I wish it was still a rare ship. So many have been given out it's crazy. The drop rate was insane.
