Captains,

 

Please post all bugs using the following template here:


1. Description

Clear and substantial description containing all necessary details.
Example: the cruiser Aoba: scout is inoperable.

 
2. Reproduction steps

A sequence of the player's actions which triggered the bug.
Example: 1. Select the cruiser Aoba 2. Enter the battle (Training or Random Battle). 3. Try to launch the scout.

 
3. Result

In-game experience resulting from the bug.
Example: When you press the scout activation button, you can hear the sound, but nothing actually happens. The aircraft stands still on the catapult.

 
4. Expected result

In-game experience which should have occurred if no bug is present.
Example: The scout has to be launched by the catapult.

 
5. Technical details
Example: Bug time: about 19:30 (UTC).Replay (attempt at 01:00), python.log, DxDiag.

If you encounter this error, please zip your ~\crashes\ folder, upload it to any online file storage and add the link to your report.

1. Description
British cruiser smoke plume not set. 

British cruiser faster acceleration also leads to slower breaking.
 
2. Reproduction steps
Take a british cruiser with smoke consumable.

Slow down, put smoke on when slowed down to 20 ktns.
 
3. Result
Sometime second plume not setting. Bugged slowdown makes this even worse.
 
4. Expected result
Second plume is set.

Ships should at least decelerate as fast as other ships.

Missing Turret on Dmitri Donskoi from armour Viewer

 

2. Reproduction steps

 

Upon activating Amour inspection viewer in port, turret A is not shown as having any form of armour to see to player.

 

3. Result

 

Not able to see armour profile of A turret or magazine. 

 

4. Expected results

to be able to see the turret and magazine armour profile

1. Description

Being asked to play 3,000 doubloons for a camo for a premium ship (Tirpitz) I bought on the day of its release, when other servers can get this same camo for free.


2. Reproduction steps
It asks for 3,000 doubloons every time I mouse over the camo.
 
3. Result
Makes me feel as though WG EU regard me as nothing more than a dumb cash cow to be milked dry.
 
4. Expected result
It's a premium ship, the premium camo should be free or at least accessible via a mission (like it is for every other server).
 
5. Technical details

I was using a PC at the time the bug occurred

1. Description: Ship doesn't react to rudder commands "A" and "D"

2. Reproduction steps: Play any ship class and get into a tight corner, where precision steering is required. Likelihood for the bug hitting increases with danger to ship... 

3. Result: Ship sinks. 

4. Expected result: torpedo beat

5. Technical details: it's bloody keystrokes, how technical can it get?

 

FFS this annoying crap is in the game for ages now. Get your act together at least once, at least when it comes to technical basics. We've all given up on you in the customer care department anyway, but at least fix your bloody code before you throw more and more stuff into the game.

No smoke from funnels or fire
 
2. Reproduction steps
full speed or setting a ship on fire doesn't result in any smoke coming from funnels or fire on the enemy ship (fire damage does tick)
 
3. Result
Everything else functions (ship moves, fire damage ticks), just no visual smoke
 
4. Expected result
Smoke visible, game can't be played without.
 
5. Technical details
This started after updating to 0.5.16 and applies to all ships

1. Description: When a player looses his connection during a match and re-establishes it, he is unable to resume playing, while the running match is displayed as normal. After the match there is no results screen and back in port there is no GUI, just background and ship. The player cannot quit the game neither.

 

2. Reproduction steps: Play a game and loose connection.  (Possibly: get a new IP assigned.)

 

3. Result: No interaction with the client after reconnect, missing GUI, player has to quit game by taskmanager

 

4. Expected result: Resumed gameplay after reconnect. 

 

5. Technical details: No crash log could be found.

1. Description

 

"Incoming fire alert"-warning skill not working in Coop

 

2. Reproduction steps

 

Play a coop-battle with a commander that has "incoming fire alert" skill. Hide behind an island or smoke. Incoming still pops up randomly.

 

3. Result

 

"Incoming fire alert" is randomly showing up

 

4. Expected results

 

No "Incoming fire alert" when not fired at

Client crashes repeatedly.

Crashes happen at random, when minimizing, during battle, after battle and when loading into a battle.

RN CL smoke bug is still present.

The Pins required, in the First part of Christmas campaign,  are 3 but completing the two Missions just give you 2 pins...???

Expected Results:

The required Pins should be 2 so the two Mission complete the First step, or 3 as it is, but one of the two Mission should give you 2 pins as in the other Campaigns

The required Pins should be 2 so the two Mission complete the First step, or 3 as it is, but one of the two Mission should give you 2 pins as in the other Campaigns

1. Description

1.1 Overlapping Text on Battle of North Cape.

1.2 Campaign Honorable Service - Mission 5 Task 3 is missing Number of needed moduels.


2. Reproduction steps

2.1 Click on Combat Missions Tab in Port.

2.2 Click on Campaigns, go into Honorable Service, Mission 5. Do a Mouse over on Task 3. - Test says "Incapacitate or destroy %(count)d module on an enemy ship."


3. Result

Cosmetic Bugs.


4. Expected results

4.1 The square should be large enough to encompass all text and show expiration at the bottom.

4.2 Amount of modules needed should be show.


5. Technical details

Client is running with 2560x1440 Resolution if that has any impact on the Combat Missions Square being somewhat dynamic in size..

1. Description: Game gets stuck on loading screen

2. Reproduction steps: play battles on "Neighbors" map, many of them, bug is not occurring regularly, but persistent, if it strikes

3. Results: the game doesn't load into the battle, the client is stuck in the loading screen. Mission tab shows other teams moving around. This behavior persists sometimes even after restarting the client, took me three attempts the last time to actually enter into the match. 

4. Expected results: game loads, match commences. 

5. Technical details: no mods installed, doesn't register as a crash - no crash log to be found. 

 

Get your fornicating act together. You milk players like money-bleeding cows, at the very least deliver a properly tested and bug-free product.

On missions to unlock the graff spee you require 3 pins on mission one but only get 1 and 1 from the other missions on the section hence it is impossible to unlock the final mission....

1. Description
Key inputs do not function at all. Mouse input is operable.

Only occurred while in division for myself only.
 
2. Reproduction steps
None, happens when a battle loads from the very first second.
 
3. Result
Unable to do anything except rotate and shoot turrets with whatever ammo type was loaded last in the previous match.
 
4. Expected result
Full key input ability.
 
5. Technical details
Once at 14:30 GMT and again at 15:10 GMT.

1. Description

Happens when a division enters a battle. On occasion.

The problem is that at loading into battle you do not have an action to return to port.

You can track progress of your team (like watching TV literally) while you are stuck in this "lobby". Effects both (tested only on two) division members.

The only solution is to "kill" the game process, restart the game, and the client starts battle load again.


2. Reproduction steps

Unclear.


3. Result

Game crash. Team handy cap. AFK rage.


4. Expected results

I would expect to be able to "go to port" from the loading lobby. Still far better than being stuck there.


5. Technical details

Latest game client. Tested on good and stable pc.

1. Description

When entering the battle i picked Bayern.

When in loading screen it was New Mexico.

After a battle the selected ship in port was Bayern.

 

2. Reproduction steps

It wasnt "just one click on selected ship" mistake.

I could actually see the Bayern and when entering game lobby it was switched. It was back on Bayern when entering the port.


3. Result

Wrong ship selected. Unprepared, unequipped. A handy cap for your team.


4. Expected results

The selected ship in port would get into the battle.


5. Technical details

Second time in few days range. Latest game client. Tested on good and stable pc.

When in game my ship did not fire AA.

Also I could not manually select AA targets. The cursor appeared but was unable to click.

 

2. Reproduction steps

Unclear. AA just didnt work and I could not select manual targets.


3. Result

Disadvantage. Team handy cap.


4. Expected results

Expected AA and target selection to work.


5. Technical details

Did a client restart. Latest game client. Tested on good and stable pc.
