Surprising decision, Graf Spee is one of the most overrated ships of the war, it would sell really well even if ingame performance was only mediocre.

If the EU don't get the same rewards (free Leander!! And camos) for similar/same missions I will be seriously hacked off... As well a few others I'm sure.

Ok I will predict something and defend WGEU before it happens just to give you some idea of where I'm coming from.

- Graf Spee as a reward ship.
To control numbers given out and so they can sell a bunch to players anyway, expect the following:

- missions for getting the Graf Spee will be very very hard. They will also be harder in EU than say NA because of the relative number of active players. To stop everyone just easily getting GS expect EU missions to be extremely hard to complete compared to Asia/NA

- missions with Graf Spee will be easier and very rewarding. This is to encourage you to buy the GS rather than complete the above.

Assuming this comes to EU I predict much whining any forum gnashing of teeth, but the reasoning and logic is clear. It will not be easy to get the ship.

 

Forget free Leander etc I can't see that happening. Is it confirmed elsewhere? They must have no RNCL players or very few. Which might be understandable on Asia server.

As long as none of the missions require silly things like playing CV at tier 8+ or BB at tier 8+ to get rewarded with a tier 6 CA I'm fine with that. The missions should all be restricted to tier 6+ Cruisers and that's it.

I'm all for a free ship, I'd go for it as long as the missions aren't too hard for me to complete. Still planning on buying the Belfast, though. The graf spee from what I saw is okay at best.

From what I can see on the Asia site, they just have to grind exp to get Graf? Sounds reasonable to me, I'll be stacking all my premiums with ESCL and going all out for a cute little pocket BB of my own ^_^
