Must be really nice being a professional fry cook.

And kudos on your skill, it takes me longer than 15secs to bake a potato, willing to share your secret?

In rergards to the guns, they reload longer, but are quite punchy. Balance.

And the IJN cruisers reload just as slow if not slower and have longer turret turn times.

On a completely unrelated note, you might reconsider playing tier 7, or atleast stick to CooP for a while/ drop down to tier 4 and get a better grasp of the game. Your performance right now is quite frankly abysmal for a new player, let alone for someone who plays tier 7. I recommend Watching some tutorials and reading up on the wiki.

Exactly. Got so used to lower tiers and was so excited to get tier 7 and it was a big disappointment. Abysmal.. well yea, but it is a game. Still, only been playing again for the last 3 weeks. Will stick to lower tiers for now and keep practising.

I will recommend iChasegamings Captain Academy series, they explain a lot of the basics, where to aim, ship roles, consumables etc etc.

He also have gameplay videos that shows good spots on the maps and target selection. And don't be afraid to ask questions on the forum. We might be blunt sometimes but most of us are helpful.

Regarding the OP: The reload and turret turn rate is fairly standard for a tier 7 cruiser, lots of high tier cruisers use 203mm guns and have similar reloads/turret turns.

The pensacola isn't a very forgiving ship, she's a glass cannon. Used well she can wreck face, but used badly she's usually one of the first ships sunk.

Regarding getting better: Don't be in too much of a hurry to go up the tiers - you'll get ahead of your ability and will end up getting frustrated. I'd normally suggest pick several different lines and advance them all, this way you get lots of experience at the low/mid tiers as well as a much better understanding of class/nation strengths and weaknesses.

Getting to tier 5 with a healthy understanding of what the other classes are going to do when you're fighting them is far more useful than getting to tier 8 and having no idea what's going on.

Also as a heads up the American cruiser line is generally considered one of the weaker ones at the moment, with the German battleship line being stronger/more forgiving

I appreciate this. Deffo got ahead of my ability by a long way. I have way more fun on lower tiers. Going back to tier 4 or 5. Thanks for input.

One trick for Pensacola early game is to turn away immediately when you get spotted early on in the game, assuming that you're more or less broadside on towards the enemy direction, which is a usual situation in maps like Estuary or Two Brothers. Usually this is followed by salvos from red BBs, which now miss you since you didn't keep driving towards the direction they predicted to. This is due to the fact that Pensacola is one of the most visible ships in the game and gets spotted before her teammates do. This tends to lead to first salvos being aimed towards the Pensacola, with red BBs hoping to land those juicy citadels from medium-long range since they have nobody else to shoot at. You might be driving together in a line with a friendly ships, but all the red BBs see at that point is a lone Pensacola, with your teammates not being spotted. After you get unspotted again, you can return to fray.

Your spot on with one thing, I don't work in a Michelin recommended restaurant, but does that make me less a man than you. .  But there you go proving a point. You all  know better than anyone else. I make a personal tongue in cheek post and all the SOB's  have got to put other people down. I appreciate helpful, constructive remarks but this I'm better than you crapis childish, we I guess you are.

He is spot on, lots of restaurants use food right from the freezer. I worked as a waiter at a cafe/reastaurant for a while and saw it a lot.

Just because they did not in your restaurant where you worked, does not mean others don't do it. It is sadly the way quite a lot of places do it :(

Edit:

Also, to OP keep trying to improve, it will get better. And sorry for the harsh introduction to the forum, we are not all bad.

I could recommen Ichases videos as others have said and maybe try another line other than US cruisers, they are not the most forgiving after tier 6. Also, stay away from british cruisers till you get better, will save you a lot of frustrations. British cruisers are not easy to play.

Wish you good luck :honoring:

Plot twist: you dont need a michelin star to be a good chef and use a proper forms. Microwaves are for poor chefs.

Not in this country.

I also said several restaurants (you didn't see it in any proper "reastaurant" you worked in... Salt that chip and join a different gang).

None of them had Stars... They were on the guide.

What wrong, we are not threatening your occupation! Do you feel you need to validate your line of work?

We are just saying that in "SOME" other restaurants and establishments they do use microwaves on food. And in my experience it happens in every country, the sad part is not all restaurants are high quality, some will cut corners where possible to save a little extra. Never said it was a good thing or the right thing to do, just that it unfortunately happens.

Guy makes a tongue in cheek post.

Check his stats.

Can I belittle him?

Troll away.

Get a life you idiots and have some humour.

Lol. What I always find hilarious are the small ego's of chefs! Kings of their hills.

On topic: OP, I think you have made the same mistake I had: thinking the higher the tier, the easier it becomes. Because the ships are getting stronger. Well that last one is a fact. But so will the opponent's ships. And the higher the tier, the more experienced the players are. It seems you have been following the USN cruiser line. The "trap" in that line is the roles of the cruisers are varying highly. St Louis having a BB role, Phoenix and Omaha more a DD role and from Cleveland they starting to play actual cruiser roles. The other lines are more the same styles. Indeed I recommend: start low, go slow. And also try out other nations/ classes. Even if they don't appeal to you at all: know your foe. Please I'm not mocking you. I was there too: bought Atago when I was still saying my Omaha. After 3 matches I kept it in port for a long while untill I reached T8 on the regular lines.
