Tired of playing game

After one year and 5k+ battles I feel tired of playing lol

Its really hard to press ''battle'' button when I knew what will get :

- 20 mins battles (its really long time for me)

-huge maps (a lot of ''empty'' water, you need ages to sail from point X to piont Y, people like to use big maps for camping all battle or for endless ''running away'' thing)

-poor map rotaton (make me fell like we have 2-3 maps to play only)

-unfair Divisions distributions per teams (this can be huge impact on battle result and its annoying, I dont want Defeat From The Start in this game)

-a lot of weekend specials are useless (cant use discounts for majority of things and Depot is out of sight in this game)

-people tending to play ''coward style'' a lot (I will never understand this way of playing... If you knew you are medium to low hp and will get killed for sure why not turn your ship and make some good damage to enemy? It is so scarry thing to fight or what is a problem? You dont have balls to help your own team???)

For now Im going back to WoT - doing some missions from past, back to CW-s a little and grinding new lines

If this game going to be more fun I will be back to play more

A good tip for the instance of your return: The Forum is meant for diskussions and not some onesided "Goodbye", but don't be sad there are a lot of other Players that doesn't get this as well.

On one side, I can agree that 20 min battles can be very long if you just want to get in and hope for a few quick matches, but at the same time, with ships being slow, I also want the time to make tactical decision and have the time to pull back from a defeat.

 

But yes, they can feel long at times, especially if half the teams playes passively in the back.

I don't understand with 16,000 plus players why it takes 5 mins to enter a battle!  It said there were 30+ players in my range and still the clock continues.

 

WOW has about 2 people playing at any one time and 1min 20 is the max you have to wait.

it depends on more than just 30+ players. After all, if all those players are BB and CA, with maybe 1 CV or so, it can't really make a match. It needs proper amount of DD, CA and BB to start a match, and CV has to be mirror.

 

only at lower tiers are their no requirements for what needs to be in a match, and I believe at mid tiers cruiser numbers are not restricted.

It took op 5k games to realise wows is a much slower paced game with longer ranged guns?

 

I'm glad the games are longer.

I'm glad the maps are more open.

And yeah, taking a break every so often is good for you.

I got bored about three months ago. Played Witcher 3 for a while and finished Far Cry 4. Then I came back. If you are bored of something, why not do something else? It's not like WoWs is a job.

He has played 1200 tank battles in the last month so it's hardly 'going back to WOT' 

 

300 tank battles and 400 ship battles in the last week   It's sleep he really needs 

 

edit - Warships.today stats may be a tad wrong though

why do people always think, such posts are drama.

very often such post contain VITAL information for developers, like any other forum post, quoting a problem!

 

the more such threads appear, maybe the devs start acting finally.

 

specially the high-tier camping problem is adressed for so many months already, maybe more posts like this here are needed to make the devs finally change some things.

and with that i dont think of ruining eco-system like they did, but REALLY gamechanging alterations of general game mechanics like just making camping USELESS by implementing

a much higher dispersion of BBs at long range (like they were also terrible in real life) but GOOD accuracy at short range.

 

also a roll back to more CBT-like armour and penetration mechanics would help to counter actual meta of boredom.

 

many many suggestions were made, and WG always intensifies problems with other changes, than really attacking the problems

I tried  3 matches in WoT the other night and that was enough to remind me to stay away but good luck to you OP. We all need a break from time to time more so from PvP games as they really can burn you out.

Totally agree....I had one about 6 weeks ago and it had more abuse flying about than 20 war ship battles. I didn't have a second

I think lot of what you wrote might've come from playing game little too much OP. It is still in its infancy. Giving it a break for some time sounds like a good idea. Come back in some time, I'm pretty sure things will change. We get new things and changes every month.

As for pace of the game... Well, it is World of Warships after all, not World of Boats... In time though and big enough community, I don't see why we wouldn't get something like "DD battle" mode.

Im not here to cry how Im not happy with game meta and Im going to QUIT

If you try to play WoT one or few battles only this is not enough One week of intensive play can bring you back feeling how to play tanks and what is going on in game At the moment missions for Obj260 are more fun to me than anything what WoWS give to us to play here

Tier 5-8 are my ships playing range so im sure nothing specilal is going on in tier 9-10 Same 20 min battles, maps, with more divisions, with nothing new in gameplay right?  

You will never play in WoT one map for 1h 40min of total 2h gaming like here

Play mid tiers yes, far more action packed. Top tier gameplay is boring garbage imo, I wouldn't pay money for ships beyond T8.

 

I've done the whole Ranked thing and don't really want a Flint or the head bashing that is playing with Ranked players.

Something is really wrong with Warships.Today Its simply not eaven close 400 battles in past 7 days

Warships.Todays says: for past 7 days 408 battles and for 90 days 392 battles lol

Nice problem to have. I'm stuck at work and can't play at all until 28th due to access being blocked. A forced 2-3 week break every month means I'm always fresh when I get going again.

 

On that note, one thing the game could do with is the ability to play when no internet access. Just mashing a few bots would be better than nothing.

if you feel burnt out, there's no shame in taking a break from the game.

 

until the ARP missions came out I was taking a bit of a break myself and playing Homeworld for a nostalgia trip (originally released 1999)
