That's led to speculation that those ships have a Spring 2017 release date, which is better late than never...although it's still later than the alternate RUDD branch. [COSTS] Hanszeehock Alpha Tester 3,692 posts 5,959 battles Report post #31 Posted December 19, 2016 Historical Accuracy mmm that can't be very true when you talk about the RN ships especially tier X Minotaur, which never ever served in the RN, so the developers got that one wrong, it was sold to Canada and became the HMCS Ontario and so the Tier X RN ship in the Tech Tree is a complete farce and no where near right Period!! This is incorrect, you have the wrong Minotaur.

My personal guess, not based on any insider knowledge, is that the line will be released in 2017.

[FUSO] theta0123 Players 73 posts 8,185 battles Report post #35 Posted December 19, 2016 Oh yes, God forbid that the Russian spooks should get a hold of the plans for the latest WW1 battleship plans.... LMAO! The plans would all have been released by 1968 (50 years after 1918) or WILL be released by 2017 (99 years after 1918) assuming they were not released sooner, these are out dated ships after all. I believe its more likely that they haven't gotten around to it yet... then again, was there EVER a good RN BB? Hood (sunk with one shot by the Bismarck) or the Rodney and Nelson... sunk by Japanese bombers before they even left the Indian Ocean... most of the time, they were locked up at Scapa Flow waiting for a German breakout to the Atlantic... or used on convoy duty... Name one modern RN BB that would be worthy of getting into the Wows game? -Rodney silenced bismarck in a few salvos. Her shells took out the turrets -King George V took out bismarcks superstructure -Duke of york took out the scharnhorst (together with destroyers) -The presence of British BB's in the convoys made german surface raiders useless, winning the war because the soviets got their supplies -British BB's defeated the italian navy by being locking them up strategically. HMS Warspite destroyed atleast 2 Heavy cruisers at the battle of cape matapan In WW1 british battle cruisers defeated the Kaiserliche marine many times. At the battle of jutland, the high losses is because of -Strategic failure of Jellicoe for not pursueing the retreating High sea fleet, wich would have suffered massive damage if he did -Sending his battlecruisers in direct combat...with battleships -While suffering higher losses, they accomplished their mission and won the war. Simular to the Royal navy in WW2. They suffered more losses then the kriegsmarine, yet it achieved total victory as they won the battle of the atlantic. Statistics do not matter when we have a victor. I think you sir, are simular to those german tank fanboys who bash and brag about their mighty tiger tank defeating 30 T34's in 10 seconds. I have to take issue with points 2 & 3 here: 1. Jellicoe was a cautious man and did not have adequate communications to fully understand the situation that Beattie got into and 2. Beatty was an arrogant overconfident leader who led his battlecruisers into the Germans without waiting for Jellicoe's Battleships, hence the losses. Only when Jellicoe understood the situation did he attempt to enagage but at that point it was too late. Jellicoe is much maligned at the expense of Beatty's self serving actions. Plus the warspite was involved which shows how important that ship has been throughout both conflicts.
