I am starting this because today, after almost 1000 games, I've finally found that premium consumables can be paid with credits. I was sure it was doublon-only thing... (And with this i take another step into the dark side of the force, aka BB-main play. My namesake will be dissaponted )

Lladdir_ Players 378 posts 3,418 battles Report post #11 Posted December 7, 2016 Not really a dumb thing and actually kinda interesting. When using the tactical map (the M key) you can actually see shells and torpedo's after they've been launched, obviously only really works on smaller maps

Not exactly, you still have to pay the gold fee to exchange them Edited December 7, 2016 by Live85

It was just kind of there. I in fact thought that was where I WASN'T meant to fire the torpedoes when I entered close quarters. All things considered, it was quite amazing that I managed even a 43% WR with my Isokaze.
Egoleter ∞ Players 4,046 posts Report post #20 Posted December 7, 2016 Not exactly, you still have to pay the gold fee to exchange them Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't make it as clear as I wanted to. If you actually exchange it, it costs 25 doubloons. If you only want to mount a new one, and don't mind losing the old, you can sell the old directly during this process.

Actually the very first game in which I played a torpship I asked in global chat how I could change the spread. The answer I got was "Oh boy..." (friendly), "press 3 again" (friendly) and "press torp key again" (enemy). Asking the stupid questions isn't always stupid.

I think that actuallly it could help you becoming better with torps, i find myself trusting marker too much and forgetting about target's acceleration and turning... OTOH i don't play DD's so i don't use torps so much.
