Please write your greatests (and dumbests) revelations in this game...

I am starting this because today, after almost 1000 games, I've finally found that premium consumables can be paid with credits. I was sure it was doublon-only thing...

(And with this i take another step into the dark side of the force, aka BB-main play. My namesake will be dissaponted :( )

You can give orders, e.g the F3 command to target something when in the full screen map and your cursor is on the thing you want dead/capped/defended.

You can sell ship upgrades (Main Armament Modification I and others like that) directly if they are mounted on a ship while keeping the ship itself. You can exchange them with other upgrades in storage at no cost.

(This was a long time ago) If I stopped firing my guns, I can become invisible again.

The enemy you fought against when one just started with the game are bots.

If you aren't spotted, have the firing detection penalty and are about to be spotted, you can just fire your guns and lose the penalty as you weren't spotted.

Not really a dumb thing and actually kinda interesting. When using the tactical map (the M key) you can actually see shells and torpedo's after they've been launched, obviously only really works on smaller maps

If you hold left ctrl and hover with the mouse on the silhouette of your ship in the bottom left corner of the screen (the one with the hp below it) you will see the specifications of your ship ingame (surface detection etc.)

Not exactly, you still have to pay the gold fee to exchange them :)

Pressing 'H' will show a nice info popup too.

Only if you want to keep the module for further use on another ship.

The white cone that shows up when I select the torpedo told me where I should be firing the torpedoes.

Considering it's not sarcasm, what did you actually think it was for? :D

I had no idea what it was. It was just kind of there. I in fact thought that was where I WASN'T meant to fire the torpedoes when I entered close quarters. All things considered, it was quite amazing that I managed even a 43% WR with my Isokaze.

Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't make it as clear as I wanted to. If you actually exchange it, it costs 25 doubloons. If you only want to mount a new one, and don't mind losing the old, you can sell the old directly during this process.

Actually the very first game in which I played a torpship I asked in global chat how I could change the spread. The answer I got was "Oh boy..." (friendly), "press 3 again" (friendly) and "press torp key again" (enemy).

Asking the stupid questions isn't always stupid.

I think that actuallly it could help you becoming better with torps, i find myself trusting marker too much and forgetting about target's acceleration and turning... OTOH i don't play DD's so i don't use torps so much.

Alt+F4 and telling that to those chat spammers.....

On a more serious note, when in port, right click and rotate to get that glorious screenshot of your favourite ship.
