You are starting matches. If you don't see any russian ship on the other team, you quit the match, leaving the rest of your team down one ship. And when there's no more russian ships available to be sunk on the other team, when there ARE any to begin with, you also quit the match. Again, leaving your team down one. And you also YOLO to try getting russian kills.

 

Yeah, I feel any "plz uninstall" comments directed at you are perfectly justified, you're ruining your team's fun. I mean, I can understand YOLO... the rest?... Nope, can't possibly be justified.

Well some people have differnt interesstes then maybe you. If you judge people just because the like Anime, Manga and what ever then please stop posting in the Forum because we are adults and we should be able to deal with other peoples interesst.

 

How would this be if the would do the same mission for Steven Seagal? More people who like him would also complain so is that also justic to make someone feel down just because he likes specific thinks. What if the will do a Bayern Munich or what ever football team Collobration? would you also start complaining? Probably if it is in your interesst so please leave those people alone that like those Things.

Its unter crapto just leave your team hanging because of a stupid mission. Wargaming should be able to see how many people got the ARP Takao and the ARP Nachi and judge from this performance that the should have reconsider there choices.

While I disagree with the measures, OP took, I can identify with the reasons.

The grind for the Nachi can be (and is for the most people as far as I can tell) very frustrating especially when you consider the low base numbers of Russian ships, a further decrease because "Why should I play a most wanted target" and the additional competition in form of at least 9 and at worst 11 other team mates. And one should also be aware of that a lot of frustration is self made e.g. by self-imposed pressure, if it is wanted or not. That we have only one chance to get Nachi might also play a role in this.

Well, while I will stick to the principle "If there is no Russian ship (anymore), finish the game as good as possible", I will draw my consequences out of this after I finish the mission (or fail while trying it) in the form of playing less or not at all for a while.

 

I wholeheartedly hope that WG EU will also reconsider future missions. "Kill 100 ships" is fine. "Kill 20 Japanese/USN/KM ships" is also fine because they are quite popular and make up most of the ships in a battle in all tiers. But what they should have done instead of making the SN ships even less fun to play is either throwing them together with the rest of the less populated nations (PanAsia, Polish, RN) so that their numbers are at least more on par with IJN, USN and KM, or reduce the required number of kills.

Yup, mission design is bad. Best time to complete the mission was in the first two weeks... which is about when I got it done. (I got Nachi on the 16th I think)

 

Unfortunately, actions by the OP only make things worse and aren't excusable in any way. I didn't throw matches away because there wasn't a russian ship to shoot at. Or it got sunk before I managed to nail it. Etc. I just played normally and earned the Nachi fair and square.

The OP is doing what's best for him. This isn't a "team" game so he has zero obligation to stay in a game he has no interest in playing due to the lack of availability of Ru Ships.

 

All he's doing is maximising his personal time spent in-game trying to achieve the Nachi mission and, to be very blunt, who cares about "the rest of the team" when there are zero rewards for "team play".

 

All this proves is that WG EU's own stupidity is causing so much annoyance but they genuinely don't a **** about their player base because, like beaten wives who won't leave their abusing husbands, we still keep playing.

Kutusov is pretty good. And since everyone is hunting russian ships its easy to bait enemy yolo players. Or simply lure 2-3 ships away from the battle. Just keeping distance, stop firing and vanish. And when they turn their guns away, fire couple times and vanish again.

I mean, really, have you noticed how people are so intent on rushing through missions to get them done because they need these things now, rather than controlling their impatience? I'm on 12 russian ships killed, was on 10 but killed two in 2 consecutive games without even noticing. We're such a feeble species aren't we, acting like ungrateful children and crying when we can't get our own way?

 

Are you so afraid you will fail the mission to the point you are going into games and quitting when you don't see russian ships on the enemy team? All this says to me about you is you care little for your team mates and only about yourself, yet for some stupid reason OP you choose to play a team based game and then act like it's some solo quest. Calculated risk for the Soviet kill is ok, but never go full retard. The plan should include a good opportunity to sink that soviet ship. The idea is that you sink only after getting that soviet kill. You can use normal aggressive play to make the matches shorter for you if soviets aren't available, but don't throw the games on purpose.

Playing WoWs for 4 monts and only thing i know for sure is that WG EU enjoy to piss off players with imposible mission.(i work 6 days week)i have sunday 1 or 2 h to play so i ask all geniuses that say yust play and you got them: HOW????? i want to yust play and enjoy the game like on other servers not this mind F...!!i played WOT from closed beta untill 2 years ago there was stupid mission i finished and nevere play again becuse i burned out it looks like this will hapen here.And i to yolo suicide when there are no russian ships in match i have no time to wait.

There is a thing called choice.

 

You can choose not to obsess over something that is seemingly too hard or too much work for you. This mission was designed for people that play this game regularly not 2 hours every Sunday.

 

If you really want it invest more time in it. If you don't want to invest the time then don't. Choices...
