Looks like the fat brother of North Carolina. Is it shorter?

It's a totally different ship class but essentially yes...

Is meant to have an amazing torp belt as it's been data mined i think.

That's the only particular thing about this premium ? the same stats as the Ncal but with better torpedo belt ?

I think it might have the Iowa raised citadel but that can be checked via mods in port. Essentially though yes, I'm not really paying attention to this ship now. I may get it if it's priced ok and I've got spare money. Already got too many ships.

Bad times, it's citadel sits above the water just like Iowa/Missouri/Monty...

So potentially NC is still the tankiest USN BB when caught with your pants down :teethhappy:

looks like it\s not really worth it

Depends what you already own I guess.

I'd be silly to personally since I own NC, Monty and Missouri. Unless there is something insane about it other than it's torp belt, but then people would complain as IJN get under cooked Prem BB whereas USN get powered up ones.

How's her outer belt armor? Because if it's 25mm like on the Iowa (not on the Mo, tho, I wonder why ) it's gonna get overmatched all day.

If it's just like the Iowa, then it's an improvement over the Iowa. The Iowa was made longer, so it could be faster, but I doubt there will be a significant speed difference in the game. That means it'll be an Iowa, but it'll make a smaller target and it'll out-turn torpedoes easier.

Well in that case I don't see many reasons to buy this one when I have NC in port already. If it gets its citadel corrected in 0.6.3 along with Iowa and Montana buff I might consider buying it.

Generally interesting but the T8 price tag... Don't know yet.

Btw. Nice bath tub harbour mate :-)

Yeah, it's the ports with certain mod packs. There's a Master port package in there that has all sorts of crazy stuff like outer space, a bath tub and a charming one with a huge red dragon in the background...

T8 price tag is usually steep, would be especially so for a mini lol citadel Iowa.

Flamu, Izolate and Notser played it yesterday (i watched Flamu mainly). Even a tier 6 BB can easily own you. The accuracy is horrible, torpedo belt - useless, because the horrible armor layout/citadel does not allow for brawling. The ship is, at best, tier 7.5. With a health pool of 56k, maybe 58k, it can easily be a tier 7 premium, if they keep the current accuracy.

Whilst Flamu only likes OP ships, he seems correct here. No real reason to get it if you've already got an NC. Says get Prem camo for NC and save money or even better, don't even get Prem camo and get credits elsewhere!

Interesting how they chose to keep the unrealistically high citadel on the Alabama but decided to lower it (in the future) on the Iowa/Monty for the sake of balance. :hmm:

*inb4 anti-US bias*

Hindenburg, Shima and Montana are amongst his most played ships. If anything he likes to play subpar ships and brag that he could make them work. Also he avoids playing OP ships like Belfast.

Regarding Alabama ye it's a BB so it can't be weak by definition

He does like to slate bad Prem ships too which I've noticed. Doesn't play Belfast but he seems to enjoy Kutuzov which I find pretty similar without the radar abuse.

He has opinions like everyone else and I don't think he tries to be too scientific and fair in his approach which I prefer to watch.
