The best success for pleasing RNJesus is after playing very well and losing, to go full herp-a-derp and die very early into the game having done virtually nothing.

 

This pleases him and he will award you a victory for the first win of the day. Everyone knows the only thing more pleasing than awarding a loss for a 100k battle is awarding a 1.5x win for a 1000 damage battle.

You may be playing at too high  tier for your "skills" to offset RNG.

Awesome, my next battle after making this thread was a win. Thank you RNJesus you are a benevolent god.

 

I thought it would be another loss since they had all 3 capture points and I was being bullied by a platoon of smoke sitting HE spamming DD's  But no. I survived and a very good fletcher player killed the pair of them. We won. I am done for today

Oh yes indeed, yesterday was awful! I had players in my team throwing matches absolutely on purpose. I am serious, my team "mates" did this each and every match and unicum or even super-unicum performance wasn't enough to carry them. It was a cursed situation, I have no idea where that came from. Ultimately I just gave up and stopped playing.

 

But in case anybody has found a reliable way to praise our almighty warships god RNGesus, let me know. I have yet to figure out how I can please him (or her???).

To be serious - don't play at morning. And start playing in division.

And one last thing - if you lose after 2-3 battles you have to wait for some houres. That might help.

What I do nowadays is this:

 

• when I lose a battle I always change a ship
• I stop playing one ship for that day if I am -2 games with her altogether (i.e. 2 more loses than wins)
• I stop playing "Ranked" / "Random" for that day entirely if I am -4 games with all my ships combined (i.e. 4 more loses than wins)

if your getting lots of losses like that I would change class

changing class of ship and not playing the same ship over and over is the best way to stop a loss streak like your having

I prayed to RNJesus the other day after a run of bad results. First salvo in my next battle I fired in the general direction of a DD that was disappearing behind an island. It was a terrible shot but one shell dispersed miles away from where I'd aimed, hit & detonated the full health destroyer.

Why cant we opt out of these missions I don't want toy ships, but I have to put up with fixed gameplay giving me 1 win in about 7, tier 8 and up

To me there seems to be a lack of awareness as to what the ship types are for, the mini map awareness and Sir Robin's running away NOT supporting the team and leaving captains to be sunk to save their bacon!

 

Now I give up with the Sir Robin's because minmax is far too common in WoT let alone every game out there (minmax=minimising the maximum damage at all times)

But I think the community should agree what the ship types are and that might prevent cursing and help winning?

 

Destroyers = sneaky rogues who hide until they backstab at close range

Cruisers = the main part of the medium to close attacking force

Battleships = Defender class who can have a role of long to medium range defending the base or defending the Cruisers and Destroyers

Carriers = multi roles far as the planes are concerned, fighters can scout as well as defend your attack planes and attack other planes, the bombers and torpedo planes are ship attackers but not as good as many ship types at the job, so are relegated support of other classes when sinking the enemy? The actual carrier is made of paper with little to no defences other than its planes. ie if any ship simply gets into long range and none of your side is there to defend, its dead meat

 

Mini map, look at it and it helps spotting the Sir Robin's on your side who will leave you at the worst moment and run away whilst you get hammered. The only defence against Sir Robin is to run faster and let him sink instead!

Yup, problem is free "fake Atago" mission - everyone is playing highest tier so they can get 50 wins and get fake Atago - if you have only tier 8 like me than you will feal the pain od MM

 

WG should make this mision only for tier 8 ships

I would use camo but I need all my credits. The Yamato is 25 mil and the Bismarck is 12 mil

There was plenty of players at high tiers before 2 weeks ago!  You say they 'need' the players at high tiers but that isn't true - as someone who has had tiers 9 and 10 for perhaps 1 year now I have never seen a point where those tiers struggled to attract players even with the poor economy at those tiers.

Haha! But being focussed is part of new ship testing. However in that game I was focussed because all my team mates died around me
